I have very conscious eating habits. I buy organic when I can, though I go for locally produced if the organic version is shipped from really far away. Some small farms have trouble affording the fees for the "organic" label. I take frequent trips to the farmer's market to talk to people about how they grow their food, so when I see their labels in the stores I feel safe about buying them.
