great music and excellent presentation; I'm going to join my local kingdom hall so that i can be in the truth - oh, em. lol they don't teach this anymore!
Thankyou for the Alcyone review. it was very informative. But I do believe you are just a little mistaken...instead of Alcyone, picture krakatoa, east of java.
i'm so glad you posted this as it's the first i've seen of this deep watchtower-pleiades connection. i assume you know its not an uncommon belief that human life on earth originated in the pleaides or even that its location was related to the galactic center. i think the similarity to early meso-american cosmology is fascinating and forms a connection between the witnesses and the mormans, which interestingly are both considered heretical by the popular "evangelical" christian community.
"Sigh" the same old pathetic attempt at trying to sound as if they have knowledge about science, yet twisting information to suit their own doctrines. This is so ridiculous it's funny. Why hasn't the Hubble Space Telescope seen the residence of Jehovah yet if it can see far beyond into millions of other galaxies?
wow that is my FAVE of your work, if they bring back that teaching the new age would join, would be a good PR move. let's all start teaching THAT, fun......sure right......I think I have a costume for 1800 somewhere works for steampunk 2012.
@TheScrewedGeneration I thought they said that all black people would develop white skin when they went to heaven? If not I'm screwed!!! Maybe I should pull a Michael Jackson.
Nice research, but stop hating those that feel health care is a sociopolitical right in a wealthy nation where the rich could seemingly be less rich, but still be rich.
"...they had to invent scientific evidence for support..." Hah, hah!!! Funny how THAT pattern of Watchtower behavior hasn't changed. Btw, I LOVE that version of Moussorgsky's "A Night on Bare Mountain" [Mt.Triglaf] that you have as background music!!!
I love your videos because it's straight out of the WT publications and not your own personal opinion. These type of (apostate) videos are more effective in helping others to get out. Keep them coming!
@TheRealTruth1914 I just hope I can reach many JWs to open their eyes. Brainwashing is very powerfull, it seems that when you realize you're wrong, you can't admit it and you have to put up a fight.
I love it when you show it right out of the actual books, it's all the more damning! Furthermore, what 'weight' would support this Pleiades system as gods thrown? It come down to one simple question'
"How the f*uck would they KNOW this?
And when the WatchTower is pressed on any of their teachings, its almost always ends up as a 'reasoning' and not a fact.
@SpecialPioneerSmerf saves me so much research, that one is my fave of their videos ...we need to start teaching that and getting the entire new age to convert. lol........so fun.......
It's so funny because all sorts of new agers say the tall blondes are pleiadians. But they don't call them angels, they call them aliens. Makes you wonder! I just mentioned this in a video, too. :) But yours is much better!
@TheScrewedGeneration Haha, yeah. Just google "pleiadian" or "tall blonde alien" and a lot of info comes up. It's so funny. Of course, in the watchtower material they try to make them all look jewish.
@Revolt1680 IF ya check the new world translation the WTBTS has taken the word pleiades out of the book of Job and repaced it with stars... I think they also took out the word orion as well. Both these star system terms are in other older bible translations
@Revolt1680 I just checked and they replaced the constellation names with these words Ki`mah constellation, Ke`sil constellation, Maz`zaroth constellation, ash constellation and have footnotes for all of them.. (I really haven`t dug into this topic in a while) I knew something was different from the other older bibles.... IF ya read job 38: verse 36 it mentions the wisdom in the cloud layers and calls it the sky phenomena ( of course you & I have been talking about this before as well )
@clnmyjts I just looked it up. and in Hebrew Mazzaroth means "lights in the sky". Kesil refers to Orion, Kimah just means to cluster or gather. So basically, it's exactly as you said.
@Revolt1680 Yeah.. important word terms take on some changes threw out time as language evolves! Here is a really weird old classic meaning for a word thats been talked about alot lately on the interenet Comet; origin of word 1150–1200; Middle English comete < Anglo-French, Old French < Latin comētēs, comēta < Greek komḗtēs wearing long hair, equivalent to komē-, variant stem of komân to let one's hair grow (derivative of kómē hair) + -tēs agent suffix
@Revolt1680 that`s what I thought...it don`t makes sense does? yeah a comets tail or falling star streaking across the sky would look kind of like long hair blowing in the wind right? & of course the theology at the time was the earth is in the center of the universe. So I wonder what they were thinking when they chose to that word term? The writers were fully aware of astrology & astrological observations. Maybe they were afraid to give a name to some of the sky phenomena so they used comet?

No, first time I've heard about it.
I thought Charles divine pyramid, 1884 and miracle wheat was about it.
Are there any other weird beliefs that they held in the Russell era?

@SaintBertholdt Let's see... There's phrenology, Restitution for all people to white skin in heaven, Armageddon... I'm sure there's more.
