The same is true all over the world. On Long Island in New York people will stop for red signals in cars and walking, but bypass them on bicycles. That makes the least sense.
You are so right on everything you said. I live across from a park and there are 2 more within a few blocks. The bicycles drive me nuts and the jogger, well I don't even want to get into that one. There was 1 in a black joggin suit the other night on my way home. He was almost a bumper sticker, I didn't even see him. I would have got 3 points though.
You make some very good points! I'm always hearing my mom complain about these sorts of things too... I'd hear my dad doing the same complaining but he's usually the one pissing everyone off!!! And I'D be complaining but y'know, dad won't let me get my license. Dunno why...
Good rant. I would like to say that things are better in small cities in North Dakota, but sadly,no. The only variation I have to your situation is the "gotta be first people" People who will turn on to a street nearly causing an accident with me just to get in front of me...when there are no cars whatsoever behind me. If they just would wait for me to go by they could get on the road safely. It just kills me.
Oh..you have a nice look today. Love the hair and the facial hair. Very nice.
