@ElBurrito101 honestly though, with this style, it would be virtually impossible to sound as good as the recording. Actually no matter what genre, most live music doesn't sound as good as the studio recording. There are of coarse exceptions to that.

they don't "suck" live, live is a completely different set up than on an album. go to more concerts check out other bands live and such. it's an extremely difficult song, the singer is singing lower on purpose at times and because it's very straining on the vocal chords when you do long sets singing that high.especially in rock music which has a lot of screaming and yelling, unfortunately not everyone can hold up as well as others. it's the atmosphere and energy, these guys are professionals.

@Xnothinbetter2dewX again, i will tell you. if you've never done it before you have no right to judge them. you can't expect people to sound good every time they do a show this is a lot more taxing then people think especially on the drummer and singer. great bands do not always sound great live they usually have many off-shows. the voice is not a thing that is meant to go for days on end with no break. traditional singers voices usually give out in 10 years if used constantly.

They will never match 100% their studio sound but that's on PURPOSE. That doesn't mean they can't really play this stuff perfectly, it just means they make it sound different after they do play it.
I'm not a big Dragon Force fan, but they keep practicing and keep trying to get better, and they have an awesome stage presence.

I don't really mind that they can't reproduce that stuff live because it sounds awesome on the CD, and you listen to a cd more than you see the band live.
The way I look at it is that when you can create that stuff in a studio, it's creativity, when you can play it live it's talent.
They're very creative people, and they are very talented, they just need to match them up.
I never heard about this band until friends who play GH started listening to it and when i saw the TTFATF video, the guitarists blew me away. I'm not looking for them to reproduce what they play on the album video note for note, but sorry to say their live performances (including instructional videos) have not been up to the expectations i had from them. They kick ass though!

If only they could do this in real life! They skip the entire intro because all it is is editing, bogranrock is right, they are not Dragonforce, they aere Nintendoforce. Tell me that intro does not sound edited. If you want good metal, listen to bands that dont edit, aka Metallica and Megadeth

They will never match 100% their studio sound but that's on PURPOSE. That doesn't mean they can't really play this stuff perfectly, it just means they make it sound different after they do play it.
I'm not a big Dragon Force fan, but they keep practicing and keep trying to get better, and they have an awesome stage presence.

Theyre great. Yeah, when they get on stage it sounds different than what the Album gives off, but the talent, hard work, and the dedication they have with their fans and their music always shows. Good stuff man, thanks for postin the vid up.

well really, do you expect them to play their songs perfectly night after night? most bands never do. in my opinion its more about the chemistry between the fans and the band live :D

I don't really mind that they can't reproduce that stuff live because it sounds awesome on the CD, and you listen to a cd more than you see the band live.
The way I look at it is that when you can create that stuff in a studio, it's creativity, when you can play it live it's talent.
They're very creative people, and they are very talented, they just need to match them up.

I never heard about this band until friends who play GH started listening to it and when i saw the TTFATF video, the guitarists blew me away. I'm not looking for them to reproduce what they play on the album video note for note, but sorry to say their live performances (including instructional videos) have not been up to the expectations i had from them. They kick ass though!

yah i hate how people think they r cool cuz they r on guitar hero. they dont even play in concert, its recorded. if u watch they arent playing but music is. i knew about them before gh3 came out and thought they were kinda alright but to many nerds think they r good now because "they can get 75% on expert" and now i hate them... cuz of nerds

I'm sorry, but this really bugs me, believe me, I am a die hard Dragonforce fan, got to be one of my favorite bands, but this really was bugging me, I said this on the fury of the storm live video somewhere too, but I've been hearing so much that Dragonforce can't reproduce their stuff live, but here I see it, so how does it work? Oh and btw, Inhuman Rampage was the 4th album.
