  • Sorry, but Chrysler did not invent the minivan! Chrysler only make it popular in the USA. The minivan had been around in Europe and Japan long before minivans began selling in the USA. Smaller roads in Europe and Japan made it necessary for vans to be smaller. They might not have called it minivans in Japan and Europe but they were definately small.

  • @Shumager2008 the word mini refers to small, which in this case a small van. Ford, Chevy & Chrysler use to make the big 15 passenger vans. Smaller passenger vans was has been around in Europe and Japan due to the smaller roads. Chrysler started making 7 seat passenger vans, thus the minivan. now you have been educated.

  • These are brand new cars; they buy them at reagular dealerships with money pooled from insurance companies, to see how poorly cars compare (in the end saving the insurance companies money through better designed cars)
