I quit my job today too, but I worked in a vaccination clinic. I agree with you 100% about the checks. Checks are outdated and they were used during a time when businesses actually trusted customers. SOOOO many businesses have banned the usage of checks because you customers can be such assholes by handing us a bum check worth a lot of money.

I am currently employed at an insurance agency and used to work at a retail store as a sales associate. What do these jobs have in common? Both are fucking SALES! I am somewhat anti-social and suffer from a little depression. The last thing I wanna do is smile to customers and pretend being friendly. I resigned last week and I'm moving back with my mother and start going to college. I just turn only 18 and live far away from my parents. Too fucking stressful! ><

I totally agree! I have a job that pays decent the only problem is my hours are not steady. I never know if I'm going to get a small paycheck or a large one. It's better to have an enjoyable workplace even if it takes two jobs, or an enjoyable good job even if it means relocating. The recession does not cure a bad job that does not pay the bills.

you know it's funny because a lot of people (usually people who already have a great paying job or at least a job that they like) say well at least you have a job and your making money it's a recession so keep it anyway. Personally i do understand that but people should at least enjoy what they do. The recession doesn't or should not matter especially when your not getting paid enough money to pay your bills. And that includes a job that doesnt give u enough hours but pay is ok still the same

I just put my two weeks in and I'm sooooooooo happy to leave. My CSM is dumber than a box of hair. I was promised to get experience pay for being a cashier BUT that never happened. I'm gettin minum wage which is $7.40 in Michigan. I would get 12 to no hours from week to week. So I'm going back to my old job. I had to buy a new car cause my old one broke down on me.
