  • I can´t remember when a franchise was revived this well.

  • Love this game playing it for 4-th time and stil... Cant belive it is so good. O.O

  • It's like that movie the matrix

  • [h+]3

  • Got this game last week, it's fucking amazing. I've allways been a fan of games like final fantasy and metal gear solid and I never thought there could be a game that came close to them until I played this . The story and gameplay are both brilliant, the music is epic, even the side quests are awesome . Seriously, anyone who hasn't played this yet, buy this game. You will not be dissapointed .

  • @MrChristophe156 If you like this one you might also like the FIRST Deus Ex, it's ven better than HR, it's 10 euros on steam (you might want to avode the second Deus Ex though: Deus Ex Invisible War was made by a different company or something idk, it wasn't as good as the others and the voice-acting suuucked...)

Annyways i also bought the first Deus Ex after this one and i loved it even more. you WILL understand the story of both games better because HR is a prequel.

    annyways have fun!

  • i loooove this game!

  • Agreed, fantastic game all round except for two things, first : the god-awful boss fights, when I found out they were outsourced I cringed but understood why they sucked so hard compared to the rest of the game, Second : The only way to restore battery or energy was by the use of.... snacks? really? but loved the game through and through except for the slightly lame ending.

  • @repentence maybe the snacks are enhanced with some kind of semi-electrical steroid

  • absolutely incredible game, a definite must, it makes you think

  • "I never stop looking"

  • still gives me goosebumps even after beating the game. my only complaint is the boss characters had no development. I didn't want them to spew their life stories like foxhound, but they needed a lot more presence and personality.

  • GOTY 2011

  • "I never grabbed her tits"

  • I adore Jensen's voice in this. It really suits the atmosphere. Gritty and dark with enough anger to make you cackle madly. Definitely a lovely game and a nice change of pace to the usual.

  • finally Gordon freeman speaks

    BUT WHERE IS THE CRAWBAR

  • @nati60606 Are you retarded?

  • name of the music please?

  • @blllick Typ ein Icarus Deus Ex Ost. In fact you should check out the whole dr:hr soundtrack its phenomenal.

  • iiiiiiiiiiluminattiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii

  • apparantly this prequal is more advanced than the first deus ex :/

  • @thePIVOTfilmz The guy who made the original Deus ex stated that all this technology in Deus Ex HR could easily have existed in the background of the original Deus Ex, which largely took place in slums and other such run down areas.

  • Hard to say which trailer is more awsome, this or Skyrim. I mean as a game I think Skyrim wins (personal opinion) but the trailers are on the same level.

  • @Greil9 at least he didnt shout to become augmented -_-

  • @POUTANA2 Are you mockin the Thu´ums? Those are infinitely cool.

  • @Greil9 i dont mock them but u compare a fucking cyberpunk game...man its diffrent trailer diffrent story

no big deal i love the Thu'ums that stormcloak used but im right...

    right?

  • @POUTANA2 I dont´t compare the games by theme, just the means how trailer tries to win your attention and how it succeeds in them. Both had some kick-ass music and phrases you will never get out of your head. However, Skyrim presented some real in-game eyecandy. Then again Deus Ex had some impressive cutscene work (even if they weren´t nearly as good in the game).

  • @Greil9 i love skyrim man but it wont learn me something...nothing about humans or tech

    shit happens for you

thats a jazz techno music, not voices

    shit happens

  • @POUTANA2 Skyrim has crazy awesome ideas that make my mind go insane. Like for instance, at one point they ask the question: If time is left and right, what's up and down?

  • @MrMixtape56 are u dumb ? im still saying that its realistic I DONT compare the fucking games im a fan of both of them they have diffrent story

i can tell you man questions from dx: sometimes the more power you think you have the more quickly it slips from your graps

  • @POUTANA2 Holy shit, I was being friendly you psychotic douchebag.

  • @MrMixtape56 same man im just telling you diffrent story

  • @MrMixtape56 space.

  • I will become Adam Jensen :D!

  • i wanna download this

  • How sad that the game isn't so awesome like this trailer.

  • @anistropic absolutely disagree with you.

The game is just as awesome if not better..

  • The game was intense, thrilling, and grasping as you could decide your own path to the ending. The ultimate game of espionage, shooter, and/or rampage, this game will never get boring.

If the graphics of the game were any better, this game > Battlefield 3.

  • @AsianTaeHyun BF3 has nothing to do with this game. Obsess much?

  • best game of the year by a mile for me

  • Absolutely amazing trailer for an absolutely... decent game, nothing more.

  • Augmented bodies with technology look simply amazing

  • I came here to watch a trailer and people are talking about Heavy Rain. What did I miss?

  • They should animate the fight scenes, split them with the in-game videos made for the game and make a film

  • The Best game trailer ive ever seen in my life woooooooo and the game is awsome

  • As a kid it was Deus Ex that really got me into science fiction. Watching this trailer, even after beating the game twice now, nearly brings a tear to my eye. These guys saved video games.

  • awesome trailer ,first time I say it for a computer game

  • playing this game is like watching a movie i swear! THE BEST!

  • always hiding behind lies and proxy servers...

  • What happened to this game? T_T

  • @BreathofArda It came out and blew my mind.

  • @BreathofArda

    ...it released...

  • so what he s a fallen angel or some shit like that did any one played this

  • @MalfatoIII The opening is actually a bunch of relevant symbolism to the story.

The first scene represents how man used to learn about the body, they literally took dead bodies and opened them up, physicall examining the muscles, organs, and tissues, and by learning how they worked they could better themselves.

It immediately jumps into the story of Icarus, who crafted a set of wings, and when he flew to close to the sun his wings burned and he fell to his death *explanation continued*

  • @Ingmatter The point of the icarus part is the lesson it tells- his aspirations ultimately destroyed him because he did not limit himself.

In deus ex, mankind has developed the technology to merge mechanical augmentations with their bodies to improve themselves. The end of the game ultimately revolves around the idea that if we take technology too far, then like icarus, we will end up destroying ourselves (or destroying what makes us human).

  • @Ingmatter Lastly, Adam jensen is a regular human. Head of security for Sarif Industries, an business in the Augmentation industry. During an attack on the facility, he was gravely injured, and had to have some of his limbs replaced by mechanical augmentations. That's why he says "I didn't ask for this." While he isn't against augmentation, he wasn't fond of the idea of augmenting himself, though through his augmentations he is able to do more than he ever could before.

  • @MalfatoIII i think he's supposed to be icarus, a character in greek mythology who was imprisoned, but built himself some wings with glue and was able to fly away, but he got too close to the sun and the glue melted

  • @cryora You're close :). Icarus was imprisoned on Crete and to escape, his father, Daedalus (the master craftsman) built him a set of wings out of wax and feathers. Daedalus warned Icarus not to get too high up or his wax will melt and he will fall to his death. While Icarus was flying he felt invincible and in his arrogance he flew as high as he could. Then the suns heat melted the wax and burned the feathers and Icarus fell to his death.

  • @Collector2006 hmm now that i hear the correct version of the story, it actually goes very well with the story of deus ex

  • f*ckin epic !

  • 3:43 Look how stupid these soldiers moves.

  • "I never asked for the video to stop"

  • @lyonified i never asked for this video to only be 5:08

  • In 2027 I will be 36 and record this with my Sarif Industry eyes and people on youtube will say what did you record this with an Ipad 5?

And you made fun of me because I didn't invest in Iphones but saved my money for a Logical recording device LIKE SARIF EYE RECORDING AUGMENTATIONS.

  • What is the background music?

    who can tell me, please

  • @iMANIAnothing

Its Icarus, from Deux ex's soundtrack....pretty awsome eh?

  • human revolution would make an awesome movie.

  • anybody else think the chick shooting people looks like rhianna?

  • @rlfletcher anybody else this this guy doesn't read the top comments?

  • This is a glorious trailer, I need to get this game...

  • Just finished this game today, a must get..

  • fkin avesome game

  • hmmm one detail has been bothering me a lot in this trailer. can someone tell me what the [h+] cubed at the end of the trailer means? btw got the game so freaking awesome.

  • @GeeGamerz Transhumanism, or Humanity+

  • @stuwydotp ah thank you.

  • great animation, awesome game.

  • @logoz Yeah thats it.

  • Just got this game today, freakin baws!

  • Fuck it, I'll buy this game the next time I walk past Gamestop.

  • What's [h+]³ ???

  • @orafaelnl

The symbol for transhumanism, if I recalled right.

  • @Zegraxis Thanks!

  • would you ?

  • i would get augmented its just meat being replaced with metal ,you still got a soul

  • GOTY, best game I have played in many years

  • @LOLMAN22 Agreed dude...

  • The David Sarif in the trailer is WAY cooler than the one in the game. I'm not sure if it's the same voice actor but they should have made him more like this trailer. He's kind of obnoxious in the game.

  • Holy shit I feel it is that kind of game... A magical one - like Final Fantasy VII or of course - the first Deus Ex.

  • ah sweet this should fill the void that the 4th Metal Gear movie left.

  • Can anyone tell me the song in the background?

  • @TruetoG Its actually from the game. Deus Ex Human Revolution soundtrack - Main Theme i think...the music in this game is just epic.

  • tht chick looks ridiculously like rihanna

  • Had to watch it one more time on the eve of release. So much waiting almost over now. Finally!

  • 4:15 I KNEW IT RIHANNA IS A GOD DAMN HUMAN HATING CYBORG!

  • @sirrington Yeah I know, that forehead of hers can't be human.

  • This look's like it will be a really good game. I'm definitely buying it the hour it comes out.

    * Deus Ex: Human Revolution Achievement Guides will be uploaded tomorrow ! As well as game-play footage of the first three missions, so that viewers can decide if the game looks like it's worth buying or not. *

  • best...

    trailer...

    ever.

  • There are 107,145 views on this video, 913, and ten dislikes. That's a ratio around 10,000:90:1!

  • I've literally seen this trailer like a million times.

  • i have a feeling its gonna be like prototype or infamous, like the game play

  • @RJ11141995 Nothing like either. This is like Deus Ex, the original game. If this game is like anything~ believe it or not, it's more similar to Metal Gear, except without lots of talky bullshit and with actual options and adventure. It's a very good game. (I've played the leaked Beta~)

  • 5 minutes trailer what for !!!!!!!!!!!

  • Can't wait for tomorrow.

  • fuck ! i want this one so fucking bad !

  • It's the 3rd gaming trailer this year, by my standards, that I love. Dead Island cinematic and Tomb Raider cinematic was epic too. I like the way the gaming companies has gone with the trailers. This trailer made me wanna buy the game and i dont know Jack shit bout the game. Not even the graphics, control or feeling or anything. Donno even if it's a platform or FPS or RPG and so on. And secondly, I NEED THAT SONG, BADLY^^

  • 2 MORE DAYS! 2 MORE FUCKING DAYS!!!!!

  • "i never asked for this."

"if you want to make enemies, try to change something."

"i dont even know whose side im on."

    "ill never stop looking."

"its not the end of the world, but you can see it from here."

  • FUCK i aint got the money to play this masterpiece! please fucking help

  • 16 years from now, shit hits the fan.

And from my nerdy man cave I shall yell to the world:

    "I KNEW IT"

  • @BlueRogue6 16 years

there is no way we could make that kinda shit in 16 years

    maybe in like 100 years

  • Hopefully the new Blade Runner movie will be as epic and awesome as this. The influences of the original movie are very, very apparent in this trailer. The city, the mood, the kind of "artificial" protagonist, the window blinds, even the whisky, all seem to be nods to Blade Runner. I like the way this game is shaping up to be.

  • Augmented vision like in the game is already possible now but requires too much power and is too expensive and impractical to be sold to the public. But I would definitely think that most things in Deus Ex HR would be eventually exist in our lifetime.

  • Incredible trailer.

  • Man why do scifi movies/games/books always WAY overestimate how soon we'll have crazy technology and massive sprawling cities. 2027? Really? That's like the difference between 1995 and now.

  • @BenkaiDebussy Stop making me feel old

  • @BenkaiDebussy thats exactly what i was thinking. from the looks of technology in this game, they look like they're somewhere between 2100- 2400. i mean, we cant even get a robot to move smoothly as is.

  • @BenkaiDebussy I think they're trying to be consistent with the Deus Ex timeline. The story assumes that there is a massive technological and cultural movement (The Second Renaissance) in between today and 2027. While I wouldn't expect cities to change (American skyscrapers have been in place for a few decades) there is already technology today that makes runners with prosthesis run faster than those without.

  • Wow just wow!! I got goosebumps from watching it. This is the coolest gametrailer I've ever seen! The soundtrack is untouchable!

  • The Year: 2027.

    Private enterprise: STRENGHTENED

    Human augmentation: LIMITED

    Riots: NEUTRALIZED

    H3 production: ADVANCED

    The Year: 2027.

    The President: JOHN MCCAIN

  • the best trailer i've seen!!!!

  • EPIC!!!!!!

  • Within the week there will be old men running the world.

  • I bet those arms are a nightmare to have around at airport security.

  • @Xackadee Not just the arms, his head, torso and legs all have augmentation implants.

  • I agree, Rhianna made her way into video games now??!! O.o

  • well, it's nice to know the worlds going to change in 15 years.

  • holy epic, Batman

  • WOOOW it like a movie, but it like the dark knight, but more violence, and it so like beyond choa......................

  • @JsHotzrider Adam Jensen is the hero Detroit needs... But, not the one it deserves.

  • I didn't know Rihanna was in Deus Ex.

  • @funglegunk Yea, Eva mendes is in game aswell

  • This trailer is like Blade Runner meets The Dark Knight.

  • 2027? Can I preorder his equipment? ;D

  • this game gonna look like the first one, aww yeah!

  • fuck tha police !!!

  • I love the way the augments of the characters in this trailer look.

In the original Deus Ex obvious augments were a sign of old technology, and the only visual signs of JC's augments are a few blue lines behind the ear.

As a prequel, the augments are obvious due to the timeline set by the other two, as technology had not changed. So the astetic looks old-tech compared to the JC and Alex, but at the time it was set it was very new and topical - and the designers use high end graphics to show it.

  • i won,t to know is this a game or movie

  • When's the release date?

  • (H+)3 ?????

  • @K13RANDX if you will know what's mean you will can stop illuminati.

  • I watch this video every day lol... I may be spoiling myself.

  • @Khalirei i am to lol i want this game

  • @Khalirei I only watch it about 5 times a day =/

  • @Khalirei sorry i want to be vote up :D

  • the shivers... they never go away...

  • Look like a movie trailer

  • @samuboy1221 lol that's what I was thinking.

  • @samuboy1221 better than a movie trailer, love it.

  • @samuboy1221 I would watch this movie

  • @samuboy1221 Deus Ex said, "Heavy rain, your game looks like a movie but... Well, we're doing it right."

  • @redauir i love deus ex but there was barely any story or characters, The whole megan story was great but the cut scenes were so short and they barely had any character development, i also expected to have more time with the bosses, it didnt have much replay value, still i would put it as one of my fav games because of the environment they built, there was a great essence and feel to the world you played in. heavy rain might not have the gamplay side but story and characters its one of the best.

  • @killzonephx I dont agree with barely any story, I loved it, to me it was very deep, I loved it

  • @cyborgchimpy It had a very deep idea and concept, about human nature, and about the world. But it didnt have much of a story...

  • @cyborgchimpy I think Deus Ex has one of the best video game stories in history. I do hate that certain characters were toyed with and then forgotten. That's my one problem with DX.

The game really makes me think of the real world. Haven't you considered getting augmented after playing Deus Ex? I bet this game has already led certain real-world companies to explore the possibilities human augmentation has to offer the world. That's way better than Heavy Rain's story and utter lack of gameplay.

  • deus ex was a good gamer that could have been better

  • @samuboy1221

It should be a movie trailer...

  • @samuboy1221 If they did it, they'd better do it right!!

  • @samuboy1221 here's hoping the game does so well we see more :P and possibly even a game movie that's done right (i.e. with the writers from the game involved with the movie and someone who isn't a god awful director with god awful actors)

  • makes me proud to be from montreal

  • I want it noawwwwwwwwwwwwww

  • OMG

  • 94/100 PC Gamer

    10/10 Official XBOX Magazine

    its the real deal kids...

  • Sounds a bit like RoboCop, doesn't it?

  • It looks gorgeous and cinematic, but as far as I know, the entire game could just be quicktime events. What happened to trailers that showed gameplay?

I really can't tell what kind of game it is from watching this trailer.

  • @nintendork64 Well considering it's deus ex, it's going to be action/stealth with RPG elements. I think they are mostly aiming for previous fans of the series.
