I have two children with RAD. I know your pain and I have seen those eyes too many times to count. Just know you are not alone. They are a lot of us RAD parents out there who get "it."
What were you doing to the child. Kids causing this much damage are not being listened to they are ignored. Treat the child like any other child never talk about a disorder or treat a kid like they have a disorder love, and the feeling of trust is what brings these kids through. I can understand the frustration, and anger of a child who never seems to listen to you but kids are not robots. After having my own kids I know nothing is what I expected it to be it doesn't mean they have problems.
@Retro80Lady30 have you adopted a child so full of anger and rage that you were afraid to go to sleep at night. if not then please do not judge this family.. i know how they feel and sympathize with them completely... my son is doing well now but in the past years we have dealt with rages, smeared feces, holes in the wall, screaming , name calling, disrespect...thank GOD for his improvement but there were years that i felt we were not going to make it..
@BlessedBlessedinHim If that was happening to me I would get spiritual help immediatly there may not be nothing wrong with your child. Demons are real, and can enter children who are not baptised, and have not made the decision to repent they are open to demonic harm. I have seen these things myself so no matter what anyone says I will never be convinced they are not real. Maybe this is real to you this is something a doctor can't cure your child appears normal otherwise.
@Retro80Lady30 i agree. some things are caused by demons and do believe that a child can be influenced by such things.. Our son has healed immensely but it has taken years of prayers and showing unconditional love . I do not believe the whole cause of Rad is demonic influence.. this children are hurt , tramatized and angry from having no control...they need healing and sometimes healing does not come instantly..In that case God gives us what we need in order to parent and love these children..
@Retro80Lady30 If a child has been severely abused and/or neglected or faced consistent barriers to attachment in the first three years of life then this disease, namely Reactive Attachment Disorder, can be a consequence. How on earth would you feel if you had cancer and some random stranger on YouTube told you that you'd been possessed by a demon and that there was actually nothing wrong with you?! Your stupidity is great, if your comment wasn't so abhorrent it'd just be plain farcical.
@MrCJfromLondon Demons are one of the factors but there are many factors. I just find it very strange that kids are all of sudden having these issues. I know how parents can expect things that never happen, and I know how kids are pressured in todays society with a lack of love in the home. To treat children as mental patients is wrong. I just think there is more to the story we are not seeing.
I wish I had an answer 4 u...I can understand yr story but yr video (no offense) could use a little work if u want more responses. I would give you a million if I had anything 2 give. I have been a single mom with 6 kids (3 in diapers at the same time for awhile). I know how terribly important it can be to find support, or even just a short break,,,2 keep us, ourselves, from breaking!!! I would even volunteer ANY time if u got this going...God bless
Living it x 4 years now... it has been hell and there doesn't seem to be any real and useful help out there... therapy is devoted to helping a family "heal" and "connect" when one member is completely out of control, yet totally in control. it's a lonely boat.
Thank you .. Sadly we are not in a position to help but if we were we most definitely would, we have also suffered all this to a degree that has affected my health, my family and subsequently my business which also affects the family. We are in the UK although we have a good national health system everything comes down to funding. Lack of understanding = No Funding!
