I'm asian, and I think there is a reverse-racism here. To be honest, when I think about a white says "I'm proud of my skin color" I would unintentionally think he's racist, but when I look back, it's clear that if a colored say the same sentence in literature and poetry, it's completely a reasonable pride. It's a fact that people of different races look different, and it's entirely possible to prefer members of the opposite sex that look a certain way or are of a certain race without hating people of other races. However, as a white guy who has seen women of other races that are attractive, to me it seems unfair to make the generalization that white women are just naturally more attractive and people of other races just don't have a chance at achieving the same status.

Well it depends why they don't want to date the other person. If they just don't find them as attractive then yeah, it goes along with what I said and it simply can't be racist. It's kind of makes me think of a gay guy, and he wouldn't want to date a woman so somebody calls him sexist. It's just his personal perference.
If, however, if a person said they didn't want to date somebody out of their race because they think other races are flawed somehow, they are racist.

@dragonflameofdark so what you're saying is that there is a "good" reason a person refuses to date outside their race and a "bad reason". I don't know if I agree 100%, but along those lines...I think it's the case that if a person doesn't want to date outside the race, it is automatically assumed that it is for the "bad" reason and that the person is considered a "racist" unless they can prove otherwise. not saying that you think this way, just saying that a lot of other people do.

@TheAmbassador11 I remember a story years ago in some high school, something new in the dating scene, if a black asks out a white girl and she says no she'll get called a racist, some chicks would accept the date so that they don't get called racist, cos this society teaches peopl that "racists" are worse than child molesters. I don't care if a girl is racist. She doesn't want to date blacks cos she doesn't like them so date someone else. I'd tell the dude "so why do you want to date a racist?"
