this happend to me but when it happened i was versing this yellow wollywog and all my pikmin went to a leaf so when the glitch happened i chucked a pikmin on the floating nectar and then the pikmin was floating even when nectar was gone LOL

I think you have to get an egg close to a wall an destroy it. On some ocasions, the yoke will land on the wall.

I think nectar egg landed on louie and broke there. That causes glitch, I think.
