VCU is cool...known for it's diversity...People from all over with many different backgrounds go here which makes the campus seem very accepting. They don't have a subway system, but they do have buses. You can get downtown by taking the free shuttle that goes to the MCV (Medical campus) There's a new movie theater about 5-10 mins away from the main campus..A whole bunch of restaurants..As for academics, it depends on your major. I know alot of our colleges/school have made national list .
Thanks for responding..Diversity is what i really like about vcu i visited the campus i really like it..It sounds amazing i want to either major in pre med or speech pathology.I hope i can get around without a car.How far is a mall from there.I will be applying next year
That depends...................... Are you coming in as a freshman, or a transfer? Of course me being me I'll say GRC!! lol I think phase 1 is still open to transfers and freshman and phase 2 and 3 are just for freshman. A lot of people like Brandt since its the newest freshman dorm. For upperclassman dorms many people seem to like Ackell the most lol that where all the athletes lives so you know it must be good considering how VCU treats their athletes(which is great).
