What I think is Desmond is the descendant from Adam and Lucy is the descendant from eve. And lucy dies so... It might be the end of The world as we know it in assassin's creed.

Desmond is a decendent of "Adam", I'm guessing Adam was part of the ancient people or something. He has to find the decendent of "Eve" and have a son, the son will save the world.NOW, he killed Lucy because she was a love interest of his and she would get in the way. although there is no proff she was even real. You never hear shawn and Rachael say anything after he does it then you hear people which sound to be stuffing desmond back into the animus.

My first reaction to "the truth is in the execution" was to think that it was about killing Lucy, however I'm pretty sure it's just referring to the fact that the team originally thinks the truth is a video file, while it is actually an executable program type thing, in which 16 tells Desmond the truth about eve.

I always thought that maybe subject 16 was related to desmond thats why the templars had him, to re-live the same memories that desmond re-lives in the game, but 16 goes mad because they keep him in the animus far too long thats why lucy takes such procautions with desmond... i mean ezio prolly had lots of children what with him being such a ladys man. and thats all it would take really for 16 to have the same momories as desmond, they would just be relaited farther down the line.
