We fans need to do something!!! Unearthed films, the company that distributes Andrey's films hasn't paid a dime to Andrey for the rights of his sales!!! This is confirmed by Iskanov himself!(Fb group: Andrey Iskanov Support)

i dont know when it was made. i think in 06 when city of rott came out. it was on the trailer menu. i want to see this film so bad. i love to see a gore-mystery movie. its an awsome horror film just seeing the trailer
It's a great film. Like Jim Van Bebber, Andrey Iskanov really shows what you can achieve on a minimal budget. And when Unearthed Films releases his latest movie, Philosophy of a Knife, I think you'll hear his name mentioned a lot more.
Grande film ragazzi!

I'm trying to get in a good number of surreal films.
Currently, I'm watching Begotten (fucked up but awesome), trying to see Eraserhead, and I just watched this film.
It's awesome, like a violent LSD trip.

The best part of his films is, and has always been, the music.

Just watched it. . . .the best thing you can do is watch it with an open mind, if you get past the self-'harm' it's okay

Got the dvd at home, I was pretty mindfucked after I watched it the first time. The second time I thought it was a brilliant film

Andrey is a true visionary... His budget for this film was 2,000 dollars, given/loaned to him by a friend. 1,000 of which he spent on the camera...

So wait. He's hammering nails INTO HIS OWN HEAD!! AHHHHHHHHHHHHH

he's a pure genius. i've been knowing it since my brother eventually bought this film on vhs some five or six years ago, in some shop here in ukraine.
this film is much more than just a cool independent horror flick. it's a cult and kind of life's philosophy to me.
thank you, andrey. hope, your new film will be good accepted by the american audience.
