I love how this fight scene contrasts with the classy duel she has with O-Ren complete with beautiful Japanese aesthetics and a touch of honor. With Elle Driver it is bound to be a dirty fight and here it is in all its glory including a toilet and chew. I love the split screen that reminds us how they both vie for the same iconic status. Daryl Hannah is a wonderful villain here.

I haven't met anyone who ever watches Tarantino films the way I do, everyone else seems to take them as glorification of violence while I see them as the complete opposite; a commentary on other films and the audience. It's just like how in inglourious basterds, everyone else was laughing when the nazi officer had his head beaten, while I thought it was sad and brutal. As for this, having had eye surgery, I think this is the only movie that really shows how painful that would be.

For me, its seems as if Elle Driver is the strongest fighter out of all four of them. (except Uma)

She also seems to be the "bitchiest" out of them all too. No wonder why Beatrix put her at the bottom of her "kill" list.

I was kind of dissapointed in the ending scene where Beatrix finally confronts Bill. I was hoping for a much longer and actually quite stronger fight scene during that part, especially since he's the boss out of all of them, but unfortunately it only lasted like 10seconds.

Bill was the last because he would have been the hardest for the Bride to KIll. Not just physically but emotionaly. But was this really a fitting end? Everyone else on her list was killed except for Elle. To be fair Elle called Pai Mei a miserable old man or something like that and he took Elle's eye because of that. Pai Mei may have felt like taking her eye but he shouldn't have. That was too extreme. He should have just kicked her behind until she got the message. Of course Elle was going to want some payback for that. If Beatriz was going to kill Elle anyway then that should have been the payback, IMO.

The scene described Ellie may have overpowered her and killed her if it wasn't for Beatrix eye pulling move. Beatrix is hella strong and fast and a powerful fighter but she's been almost killed several times in a fight by all kinds. Her wits and fast thinking is what carried her through.
