  • love it

  • This is awsom.... Love your work, thank you for sharing your knolledge, i'm making all kinds of neat things!!!!

  • how would i find a pinwhel pattern

  • The shorter videos are a wonderful help. It gives me time to work the stitches and make sure that I am doing it correctly before moving onto the next step. A lot less to tear back out if I mess up.

  • why are you clips so short for such a long tutorial

  • According to 1000's of emails... not everyone gets how to crochet easily... so splitting each line into it's own allows them to keep going back into the video and when ready can just jump into the next video.

  • Yes! Thank you! This solved my extra stitches issue! Thank you so much! =D

  • Sorry for all the questions, but I must be doing at least one of them wrong, but I can't figure out which one! lol Thank you for your time, and thank you for these awesome videos! You're the best crochet teacher ever! =D

  • Does that help you any? Let me know.

    Michael

  • 2. After the 3 sets of ten plus 1, when you do two single stitches, are they supposed to be in the same stitch, or do you do one in one stitch, then one in the next?

    3. When you are counting to go to the fourth stitch, do you count the one you've done the 3 single stitches in as the 1st, or do you start from the one next to it?

  • 2... where it is looped, you single stitch into the one directly next to the loop and then the next stitch will be next... they don't go into the same hole.

  • 3... when youare counting over, You are jumping over to the 4th, so you going to put your needle into the 4th hole. The count starts with the very next stitch that is empty, then continue along until you find stitch 4 and then fasten your stitch into that hole there.

  • Hi! I love this stitch and I really want to make a blanket out of it! I am kind of an ametuer, so it might just be a little too advanced for me, but for some reason I keep ending up with extra stitches at the end of the first line so can I ask a few questions to clarify?

    1. When you start, do you count that first slip knot that you start with, before you do anything else, as a stitch?

    (will continue in another comment)

  • The first slip knot is considered 1...

  • do you have written instructions for these patterns

  • how many chains is it to make that blanket

  • happy christmas and merry new year

  • ok cool

  • do u have any other hand crafts that ur good at?

  • I just make things as I go...crochet is definitely my gift in crafts... sorry.

  • oh ok

  • cuz i like it but sometimes i get confused

  • so did u come up with the catherine wheel

  • no that isn't my own.

  • just curious

  • various places... I do have a book to show standard stitches... sometimes i make them up myself and see if it works! they probably already exist as a stitch but creativity is great when you think you created something new

  • where do you get ur stitches from

  • ur a crochet machine!

  • You are too kind! haha Michael

  • how do u learn your stitches?

  • um learn any new stitches?

    ?

  • hi mikey, im a ten year old boy who also likes to crochet. um my favorite stitch is the catherine wheel.keep up the good work!

    P.S.plz type back

  • If you ever attempt it... be sure to send me a picture of it. I put user projects together in videos to show the others!

:) Talk to you later and thanks for your feedback!

    :) Michael

  • I had just googled this stitch...I was going to send you the video....and it turned out, YOU MADE IT! ROFLMAO!!! This is a neat stitch, and I was just going to say, "its a yarn gobbler" but you beat me to it! LOL! Very nice work, Mike!!! :)

  • It is a bit of a yarn gobbler! LOOKS FANTASTIC... You will be blown away momentarily... I had some people send me their finished looks of this... I am uploading it... I could cry they are that amazing!

  • At the last stitches of this row, should there be 2 single stitches at then end to make it the same as the beginning?

  • you caught me. THere should actually be two single stitches left at the end. I think I ran out of holes, maybe miscounted the original chain or miscounted the first half pinwheel holes. Once this row is complete, it sets the stage for the rest of the blanket. It's hard to screw up once this line is done!

  • Then the multiple would be sets of 10 plus 2 extra at the end of the base chain :-)

  • and I do and I will. I've got fierce determination I'll just take baby steps, thanks.

  • I'm easily confused and my moms been riding me to make her a blanket but I'm new to crocheting I'm a knitter so I'm trying because I wanna do this but it's so hard and your hands get in the way I have the hardest time finding the stitches, so for a beginner like me I probably shouldn't be trying something so hard right? But it's really beautiful and I'm a dedicated worker so tell me straight can I or can't I do this. And thanks for the videos they have helped me.

  • I have a very simple answer!

As long as there is a desire to learn, there will be a desire to accomplish your goals. For this project and anything you set your mind to in life. :) Michael
