  • Nicest guy I ever met. The day before the grand opening of his store, we stopped by in Hollywood to meet him. I think I saw that guitar in a case for sale.

  • Love the body. Neck stars are cheesy. High E is buzzing a tad. Neck probably sourced in China; i've only seen stars on Chinese necks. Love the electronics. I install these mods on pretty much all my guitars. Not sure why the kill is a lever rather than button. Button is more versatile. Why no distorted demo of the middle position? Did I miss it? Couldn't hear the boost. The boost should have a trim pot. Floyd vibrato upgrades are great! But guitar is overpriced by almost 2K.

  • So, can I assume the neck is installed using wood inserts and 10-24 ss machine screws? And of course, there's a double action truss rod in that puppy, right?

  • dammit, you stole that pick flick thing from me

  • ha, hold on, i'm gonna rape this guitar.

  • you should make it so you can use BOTH humbuckers at the same time, i've always wondered what that would sound like

  • I think its a really sick guitar the boost feature is really cool and inovative but I think if it is really 2700 $ thats way to steep .

  • HOLY SHIT!!!! Star Inlays??? You gotta be shitting me? How Original!! Too bad FENDER, KRAMER and every company RICHIE SAMBORA has ever been involved with has never used that one 25 Fucking years ago! On board effects, Floyd Rose Trems? Never seen those either! Fuck, this guy just keeps em coming!!!

  • kool so uh..what does it cost?

  • dollar 2700 is very expensive for it i go to ESP guitars not it

  • nice guitar

  • this guy gets it like Guerilla, DBZ and Bernie Rico Jr. to all the other companies that understand the players needs.. doubt this is going to be under 500$ as the bridge alone with all the upgrades will go for that if memory serves me right.

based on looks and inlays I wouldn't touch the guitar as its not evil enough looking but still.. sounds great and many features you don;t see, thumbs up if you're sick of JUST.... tone .. .one volume and a selector..

  • very nice guitar... cost?

  • Charvel +1, Perri Ink-1

  • Effects in the guitar...ppl been doin it since 70's

No diss intended.glad to see artists progressive with guitars

  • Proof that you can put all the best hardware on a guitar, but it doesn't make it sound good.

  • bit like a charvel surfcaster, a stock guitar?..

  • oh shit... that guitar sounds awsome...

  • sounds good at the bridge, dont like the name, the star inlays, the floyd, or the way stuff is written on the headstock, change those things and youll have a sweet guitar! imo

  • before this video i was thinking do i get a prs or fender next. now its prs or perri ink

  • @CMSpida prs easy. you cannot go wrong with a prs. i have a 2010 experience custom 24 and its great, if there is one thing you cant get enough of is versatility and it has that. i can go from blues to metal by just changing pickups and tone.

  • Just in case you were wondering, I checked. They start at $2700.0

Nice axe but WTF? $2700.00? .....Does it blow you when your done playing?

  • @J89898080 It's hand built..

  • @J89898080 people are buying Gibsons for not much less that that price. so i think this guitar will sell quite well.

  • @J89898080

That's pretty standard for a custom, hand built guitar to be honest.

  • @J89898080 Seems like a rip off. I'd take a Charvel any day...In fact I'd take 3 Charvels over it any day.

  • I know what im getting next tax return

  • this git aint that bad:-) nice clean it got some acustik soundfreuinzes

u know starinlay and bluelight are top noch:-) dude

    all in all nice work

mexismarty defenetly knows what he said

  • Love the look of this and we should always welcome new builders. Think the 'clean' demo was pretty poor though, sort of turned me off it. Sounds like there's some dead spots/action way to low or a combo of the two. Doesn't seem to breath or ring out clearly.

  • I would buy this

  • sorry... sir.... you have your fingers dirty...

  • needs stainless steel frets.

  • Very interesting, ima keep my eyes out for these for a while :D

  • I love the inlays on this guitar.

  • seems interesting :)

  • ok... nice guitar but.. 2.700 bucks?! lol

  • who wants a bet this guy never had to work a day in his life.

  • am i the only person who thinks the "out of phase" sound is crap.

  • @ottozing no your not the only person who thinks it sounds like crap, not only dose it sound"out of phase"but it also sounds much to compressed.Sort of like the didn't even mic the cabnet and went straight in line digital.

  • @jayou812a yeah its like all the wrong frequencies and all this weird rattle ing sound.

  • I like the stars. They are tacky in a cool way, I think.

Even taking into account You Tube's eq quirks, the sound from the guitar isn't that special to me, though, except for the out of phase bit---many might find that tone an acquired taste (I like it myself).

  • Pretty cool interested to see how this all works, not a fan of the dive only trem or Seymour Duncan pickups but this looks pretty bad ass.

  • Fuckin impressive

  • Well if everyone is gonna hate the star inlays then... well I guess I'm gonna have to like them cause I just love to be different!!

  • No tone :-/ It would sound better with Dimarzios. I'm not feeling the stars either. He needs to have offset dot inlays I think.

  • Why aren't more guitars made like this one?

  • he sounds like the shamwow guy

  • I love everything on that Guitar!.... Except those Stars.

  • Wow. He definitely put the "super" in Superstrat. Those are some fantastic modifications!

  • i love the fact this this guy is a guitarist building for other guitarist and incorporating simple but neccesary stuff into these beasts. i love his concept and i love what he's doing... if i ever have the chance ima get me one of these yo

  • come back with a rosewood fingerboard, dot inlays, and about halve that price of $2,700 and we've got a deal

  • Comment removed

  • cool, the guitar was pretty sweet

  • Awesome guitar! Only thing I don't like is the star inlays, apart from that, it's awesome :)

  • Finally a guitar maker that knows the "real" needs of a guitar player!

  • Awesome, but I do think that the stars should be normal dots...

  • The stars inlays ruined the whole guitar.

  • Probably the cost of a used car.

  • Kill switches should be buttons. A switch would tire your wrist out.

  • @maneatingtoilets LOL! Are you serious? I'm assuming by that comment you don't play guitar... do you think guitars should play themselves too because your lil fingers hurt too?

  • @GuitardedMark Haha at you 'supreme' personality, I wonder why you feel the need to insult others for no apparent reason (not that you should anyway). Yes I am serious, lever type switches suck for kills. And are you stupid? Why would I be watching this if I didnt play guitar. Chances are you've not played both types of kills, and a button/pot is so much better than a switch. It probably wouldn't tire you, but I was getting at the point that its wasted effort.

  • *facepalm* grow up dude...

  • @GuitardedMark It looks like you need to do the growing up, re-read the way you have talked to me.

  • I'd buy one right now If they'd done the sensible option and moved the kill switch to the C part on the strat

  • what amp was he playing thru?

  • That sounds .. incredible.

  • that light for the clean boost is kind of dumb who wants a bright light to turn on for every time you use it?

  • @88segovia Put some tape over it, but I'd say it's good for most guitarists, if they bump the switch accidentally.

  • Everyone Wondering who Nick Perri is, well apparently he's the old lead guitarist of Shinedown, if that helps :P

  • 4:45 - Call of Ktulu!

  • @CharvelDude94 megadeth-when....

  • $2700? god daaaaamn

  • nailed the solo

  • huh huh...he said woody

  • this guy definitely has it right, great ideas.

  • I like it, and you did a very good presentation! I think making a neckthrough guitar would be more "perfected">.

  • He must of saw Tom morello on the tv and said 'I'm gonna make a guitar for him' I think Tom morello would buy that guitar

  • nick who? .. but nice playing ... :D

  • Tbh, i prefer this guy to Paul! Sorry Paul :(

  • @RobConroySucks paul does reviews. this wasnt a review ya idiot.

  • @amathew711 So i prefer his playing style ya idiot

  • what more would i need....how about the 2 extra frets....this thing is worthless to me unless i have all 24.....

  • @abysslord16 dont buy it douchebag.

  • @amathew711 no problem ass fuck! :)

  • @abysslord16 fatty.

  • @amathew711 troll

  • @amathew711 no problem :D

  • looks pretty sweet

  • sounds great, looks pretty cool, apart from the stars, but the thing cost $2,700.... great....

  • I just checked out the website and the definition of custom may be misunderstood(like I did). I think he doesen't make custom guitars with your specifications you know like a dream guitar but he makes guitar series that are custom made by him with high-end parts. Am I right?

  • @MrExplorer260 I'm sure you can email him with specifications. Anyone claiming to be a custom guitar maker would do so.

  • @summitthescale The only problem with all the good custom shop guitars is that they are overpriced if you have a radical idea

  • @MrExplorer260 Yeah, you really can't find a custom guitar for anything less than like 1800 dollars. There is Carvin though. You can order a guitar from them and get it custom made on their website. 1200 dollars maximum.

  • @SuperMrONeill Nick Perri is the former guitarist with Shinedown

  • @SuperMrONeill he was the lead guitar in Silvertide and was with shinedown for a short time

  • @SuperMrONeill LOL YES! XD

  • @SuperMrONeill He's Nick Perri of Perri Ink guitars. He's not trying to hide from you.

  • @SuperMrONeill Guitarist of Perri Ferrell, and Shinedown.

  • @SuperMrONeill He used to play for Shinedown.

  • the out of pahse thing is pretty awesome!!!

  • this gave me douche chills.

  • me too the stars are trash on it but finally besides Dean Zelinsky when he made DBZ guitars and few companies this guy gets it... hate the stars and the shape... but.... but that being said ... amazing clean tone and the out of phase pickups are great and the overdrives pretty good by itself with no serious wall of pedals and overdrive.

not to mention he went all out on the floyd rose, lets see any company do that. The cheap bastard method is to use pennies to block the bridge for more tone.

  • 2 things,Nick: the volume knob is way too close to the bridge/pickup.very easy to accidentally hit it with the picking hand.

also, the headstock is not tilt-back.but all in all,it looks nice and seems to sound nice too

  • OMG this guitar sounds amazing! but... i hate the stars!!!

  • @AlexilMetalhead it seems like the 1995 strat of Richie Sambora.

  • Great to see young people interested to get into this kind of business with all these "monsters" out there. He seems to have a viosion and he's very passionate about what he's doing.

Go for the top Nick! :)

  • I really like that guitar! Just the look is amazing, despite that it is standard

  • 4:03 for playing*
