  • You may want to put an update in the description that the T-128 replacing this has been installed, but not hooked yet, and this siren has most likely been disconnected

  • @carexpertandy Thanks Andy!

  • Cool Video, how far away is this siren form the 1000T on top of the Library?

  • @thefandude21 If you are talking about the siren in Elmwood Place across from the school, I say about 3-4 miles or so. I will let you know for sure when I find out.

  • would you stop playing with your legos when video taping. Just kidding... LOL

  • @JerryMopar I was tightening tightening the the camera holder on the tripod

  • im just joking arounf my friend!

  • @JerryMopar I know

  • by any chance would that be a 1950's model ? thunderbolt nice catch

  • @russelD9 According to a siren survey cd that I have, it was installed in it's original location in 1952.

  • It is nice to hear and see a Thunderbolt being restored and put back into active service than being replaced with a 2001 good job for the county in giving this siren a second chance i wish other cities and counties did this but are not willing to

  • Nice! I heard a 4/5 port thunderbolt in the backround. May I ask, is this Cincinati?

  • @ironike11 yes it is

  • @ironike11 It's interesting that Cincinnati does a growl and Minneapolis/St. Paul doesn't.

  • @JPa311979 it is.

  • Kinda sounds like a 2001 fully wound up.

  • Nice video Nick. : ) You captured the echo nicely.

  • nice 1000. and timing catching that Nathan/airChime K5HL train horn blowing in the background too

  • @nickrusche Is this how you remember it sounding? If not, it mustve had its chopper replaced sometime between 2002 and now

  • Hey great video! Thats a Thunderbolt 1000 btw. :D

  • Thanks!

I know. On a siren survey CD I received from a local siren installer, I think it was listed as a 1000t

  • @nickrusche There are lots of mistakes on that CD unfortunately. Some of the sirens listed there have since been removed and/or replaced as well.

  • @Oldiesmann Are there also mistakes on installation dates and power source things?

  • @carexpertandy Andy, I noticed that for this particular siren for example it has the address correct, but the name of the school is incorrect. I'm glad that you guys noticed this too, I thought I was just reading it wrong.

  • Awesome video Nick!
