  • That drop is huge!

  • i thought that u have should restains

  • now that Will Koch died will this park keep expanding and getting better?

  • @BradzizAwsom Yes, his brother and business partner, Dan, is our president now. He and Will had a long-term plan.

  • santa might melt

  • Whatever happened to the 40' wall of water the initial advertisements promised?

  • That looks soo much fun! :D

  • great to see santa tacking a well earned day of and glad he spent it at the theme park he looked like he was haveing loads of fun

  • At a way Santa!

  • RIP Will.

  • The splash is disappointing.

  • dude i was their like 5 weeks ago it was a freaken blast

  • it is very good butit missesthe big water wall.

  • OMG it like Daredevil Falls but MUCH higher and lifts up MUCH different

  • Santa actually rode the pilgrims plunge at Holiday World.

  • where is holiday world?

  • sants cluas IN. yes santa cluas is thr real name kinda cool this ride is awsome by the way the best part is going up on the elevator :D

  • wow thats amazing how you get lifted up !

  • holiday world is awesome...next time i go im gana hit 30 times riding the voyage...ive ridin it 27 times :)

  • You could tell Santa really liked that.

  • @Brand0n777 you're right he's saying the fastest ho ho ho's i have ever seen.

  • @Brand0n777 And he didn't even lose his beard ;)

  • GO SANTA!

  • LOL!!!!!

  • For those who think the splash should be bigger, consider the height that this thing is coming from. If it smacked the water, from that height, to make a huge splash the whiplash effect would leave Holiday World with many lawsuits from injured guests. That is why it slows down horizontally before making any splash at all. This ride is about the thrill of the drop more than the thrill of the splash.

  • i love going to holiday world, im from england so i've only been once, but will defo go on that when i go again next year. its weird thou, i feel like the only one speaking differently :P

  • man i love holiday world. the voyage is awesome but i moved to california so now i only go like once every 1 or 2 years =(

  • Its allright beside, you got more parks in California than you do in Indiana, and your getting a brand new toy for your state, in 2012, there building a High speed rail so you can go any ware in C.A. for the same cost of riding Greyhound accept you be traveling 220MPH.

  • There are individual lapbars for safety restraints.

  • do they have seatbealts on there? :P

  • At the bottem of the hill it dosn't make a splash then it makes a little splash then it makes a tiny splash that just gets the people in front wet.

  • Haha Mrs Koch is in row c (:

  • thats nothing, its high but u dont get wet, go on tidal wave at thorpe park, that its a good ride

  • holiday world is the best

  • that seems so fun.

to me holiday world is so homey. like the people there seem so nice everytime I go i just get a good feelings there. i love holiday world

  • same here. i love holiday world.

  • Yea pretty much every other water coaster, in the world has a bigger splash. Some that are 40ft high have bigger splashes than that.

  • Tidal wave at thorpe park is about 50ft lower than that but the splash is so much better

  • Tidal wave makes the bigest wave in the planet, if you want to see more like it take a look at my videos.

I take care of maintenance on those rides !!

  • I've been on both, but I find Pilgrims Plunge to be a far better ride, even if the splash is smaller.

  • Hmmm I recognise a few of those people. Specially the one in row D. :)

  • LOL! The boat just stops at the end. Guess u gotta swim the rest of the way...

  • Hmmm maybe they should just make it for splashin' safari then. :P

  • If you watch the POV video of this ride you can see when the boat reaches the bottom of the track there is no water over the track. I am sure once the season starts the water level will be higher which will make the big splash

  • ok thank GOD

  • LOL look at santa

  • Soaked to the bone :)

  • When I saw the first ever testing video posted the splash went super high. What happened to the big splsah? Are they going to make it big again?

  • I say the lift is the scariest part....

  • I believe the amount of splash can be adjusted by either raising the track or lowering the level of the water (not sure which). That allows them to control how wet the riders get. Not many people want to get soaked on a cold day.

  • I LOVE THE DROP

  • it needs a bigger splash ..too small of a splash way to small

  • with no big splash thats going to be fun..its supppose to bi the biggest in world remember..... that is to small of a splash for a big ride like that...

  • I was wondering the same thing. One of the big sales pitches was suppose to be a 100 ft. wall of water. I guess it was a bust.

  • So I have a question, what happened to the enormous splash that the boat should have made? During the first test run video, it made a pretty big splash, however it looked like that splash ended up stopping the boat in the flume. Can you guys offer any explaination?
