@justsmilehomie Well I believe it to be consistent with the rest of the album. In almost all the other songs in First Impressions of Earth, Julian sings about how this generation is a slave to technology and that everyone is just distracted and don't contribute anything to society. They've "got nothing to say". and the distraction reference is "don't be a coconut, God is trying to talk to you". People dont care about anything ("got no reason to live") but then again thats just my opinion...
