@renngretsch He certainly did, I was at that game. And if memory serves me, it was a side-footed half volley. At the time, it didn't get any attention - everyone was still fawning over Beckham's goal and a few days later we get a better version that nobody notices. Batty was an outstanding player and the pairing with Rob Lee was unstoppable for a couple of years. Tiote and Cabaye are a very similar pairing.
