  • LOL, i bet she 'came up' with the idea from watching ThreadBanger's DIY video a year ago. She's using all the same materials and ideas, but using a tad bit more 'expensive' products.

  • holy fuck, get on with it! this shit has a thousand parts (none of them numbered), and they never get to the fucking point!

    annoying little shits!

  • hell to the fuk yes hahaha

  • thats how they make their money, boosting the views because you have to keep clicking on the same damn video trying to find the next part.

    they are very annoying

  • lol

  • i cant get my fabric to be very tight. other than that i like this way. i also like using a sponge brush.

  • I knew it, Size does matter!

  • i use wimpy hoops to do this and i dont use a squeege at all i just use like spongebrushes and both work just fine and make perfect prints and are reuseable so yeahh you dont need to really follow these if you dont want

  • didnt she say expencive

  • but I need a -rectangular- frame for my rectangular image, so now what?

  • buy canvas stretchers, wet the silkscreen material, staple it exactly as you would stretch canvas on the canvas stretchers. in my local art store, i can get a 10x14" frame for about 5-6 dollars, and a yard of the fabric (be really nice and they may just estimate instead of measure) for about $23. a yard of fabric can get you about 5 screens at that size. I would recommend not taking the screen off, and just buying more stretchers, if you like the end stencil.

  • I've had really good luck with the round hoops. They come in huge sizes. I find them easier to adjust than rectangular shapes.

  • Do you know if you would be able to burn an Image to the screen, using emulsion, and a light, like they do with the real silk screens?

  • im sure as long as youre using silkscreen material, it doesnt matter, as long as the screen is taut, it is a REAL silk screen, your frame doesnt matter. just ensure the frame is strong enough to withhold a piece of glass being placed on top to keep pressure on the negative, and that you have something supporting the screen underneath.

  • Large quantity tee shirt printers now use a digital system to get the art from the computer to the screen. The stencil is printed directly onto the emulsion coated screen with a unit such as Planet B's Sprite. You can send art directly from your computer to this unit as though it were a printer.

  • Wow!!! Thank you for posting this vid, it was so helpful!!
