what i meant was you gotta unplug the system. actually this little incident just happened to me. unplug the system, plug it in, immediately remove the game, then check if the memory is okay. your wii overheated.

overheated? that's strange .. red steel is the only game my wii has ever frozen from, I guess the game's got issues then? poor memory management or something, I don't know I'm only guessing... would make sense since the part of the game it froze on involved all of those bunnies falling and exploding from the ski lift, too much goin' on.

I ignored it, this was very long ago of course, and found that it happened to a lot of people. Red Steel was buggy and was kind of a rushed release just so Ubisoft could cash in on the release and hype of the Nintendo Wii. Never happened again for any other game BUT it has happened very few times for Red Steel.

Ya my Wii froze in the same part of the game twice. There might be a problem with the level or you spent to long in there figuring what to do. The game never froze for me in any other part.

i tried for a long time to get into a rail car, but you can't! you just have to run up the hill. a page i saw said hug the right wall to avoid the bombs. it works!

you can go up the escalator! there's a weird glitch I figured out but that whole part of the game MAKES NO SENSE.... there's no clear way of getting up ... its weird

Sadly consoles are too powerful these days they have this issue. My Mega Drive (Genesis its known to some people) lasted longer than my PS1/2 and my first 360, wish they made consoles that tough.
