  • 16 people are extremely uneducated about eating disorders. :|

  • I love that a man made this video. thank you.

  • We totally disagree. This has been taken too far. You can read the Raging Taste Buds blog and Vote.

  • This guy is amazing. I can't believe that ad was put up in the first place.

  • Anyone who dies because they were influenced by a pretzel ad probably wasn't worth saving.

  • Why is narrator speaking with a lisp?

  • so this what people do with their free time.

  • @JOS3EMMANUEL America is a continent, not a country, you're aware of that, yes?

You can't really say that the average american is stupid.. it's like saying the same thing about Europe, and even Europe doesn't have as many different cultures as America (or just the US).

Not arguing here, just making a statement.. calling "americans" stupid is just as ignorant as those who think Europe is a country.

  • @thedevo01 do you even know what an american is?..is somebody from the united states of america... i bet u didnt know that.

  • @JOS3EMMANUEL

It's short for US American, but when the president makes a speech, he says "US Americans" and in all contracts it says "US americans" not simply "american", because "American" includes more people.

  • @JOS3EMMANUEL And another note.. don't think that in Europe there are no stupid people. I've seen shit you have never before - if you truly believe US Americans are that stupid. I've been to the backstage of fashion shows in France, and wow.. there are some incredibly stupid (famous) whores in even the most respected European countries.

  • @thedevo01 well dont hink that i do. because i dont.. and dont think.. cause im not thinkin wut ur thinkin,.so dont think for me.... i have my own toughts

  • @JOS3EMMANUEL that's really rude.... it totally true there are alot of eating disorders out there and honestly this ad doesn't help them... and there are alot of people who aren't fat and are actually underweight and dangerously underweight that think they're fat because of society so yea if you're ok with the fact that people are dieing from this you aren't human

  • fuck pretzels.

  • lol. It's fucking funny seeing people debate about a pretzel ad. Of course it's about pretzels. But, if you're in marketing, you know you have to take in consideration of what the message will be promoting (both literally and figuratively), how it will be interpreted, who it's targeting, and if it might be offensive to the public. This is the thought process and considerations I had to use when I worked in marketing.

  • its a pretzel ad a derr! but i mean eating disorders are bad. but its pretzels wtf? give it a break. but i mean, they should change their ad. i duno. who cares. thats wut i say

  • WTF he misinterpreted the ad. It's about the pretzels being thin, not people

  • OH MY GOD IT'S HIS OPINION! At least he's doing something to express a very serious illness! so many haters with stupid minds!

  • Personally, I'd risk a few more eating disorders in the world for a society that's not so PC that it attacks pretzel ads.

  • @KrazyShrink

You are a fool who fails to understand what PC actually means.

  • @jopkins Perhaps that wasn't the right term to use there, but you get the point. People need to grow some balls and stop crying over a stupid ad at a bus stop.

  • It's pretzels, asshole. Go spend your shitty time on something that's worthwhile.

"I'm going to put some crappy stickers next to some pretzel ads today. I am a good person! Yay!"

Great job saving the world, fag.

  • @ColonPatrol WTF hes making a point and a good point unlike you who trolls on youtube and tries to put down sincerely nice people.

  • @CocoandVelvet

    Go suck some nigger cock.

  • @ColonPatrol This had nothing at all to do with pretzels, dipshit.

  • um first LOL @ the Nicole Richie picture,

But seriously? Its a fucking pretzel ad!

Get over yourself and find something better to do with your time!

  • @xXShunketsuXx Not pretzels, 'Tard, but irresponsible messages.

  • dude, relax. it's an advertisement. Let me buy you a beer.

  • @ImNotYourBrahh Missing the point. Maybe you think it's about pretzels.

  • Especially nice pretzels arent really food

  • The next ad for Americans should read, "You can never be too fat."

    Oh, wait a minute...

  • @vekka220 HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHHA....oh wait i think ive heard that before...yea that jokes a little played out

  • do people really take shit like this as a serious message to themselves. Its a statement about the product, have some self esteem, self control, and self conscious.

  • @rcmuckel EXACTLY!

  • @rcmuckel Subconsciously, we all absorb this shit -- via clever marketing and the social constructs they create. It's just a matter of how much. Pump this into the brains of an impressionable teenager long enough, and you've got a psychologically mangled skeletal mess.

People need to take responsibility for messages they put out.

  • YES! Stand up to incredibly stupid marketing!!! What bone head ad agency came up with this idea????

  • I find this ad hilarious, also you're just doing one of the things the ad was meant to do. You seriously don't think they caught that phrase, come on. It was made to piss some people off who didn't think they were talking about the pretzel crisps and have them spread the word about the advertisement.

  • @new01 You obviously have never suffered from an eating disorder or watch someone you care about suffer from this horrible mental illness. And I hope you never do. But, if you ever do, I seriously hope you change your mind about ads like this being "hilarious".

  • @andreafry75 The point im trying to make is that the ad isn't telling people they can never be to skinny, it's talking about the thin pretzel crisps. Why would a food company want people not to eat? The ad is hilarious because people are causing an uproar about it thus free marketing, it was left vague for that reason. Anyone with half a brain would know that you can be to thin, anorexia is a mental disorder related to OCD not a voluntary choice.

  • @new01 THANK YOU!!

  • I can see the point made here.... Its amazing that this company had a meeting for this new ad, and that nobody at that meeting saw it as a bad AD! Wow!! It;s like Coka cola saying "Drink our soda, your never going to be too fat., Diabetes.. Well, at least you enjoyed our fine product for awhile."

  • very nice

  • Well done! Cheers.

  • good work!

  • That is pretty disgusting and disgraceful. Of course, one can argue obesity and heart disease are bigger killers, but this still send an outright dangerous message as well.
