No one can legit say rogue wave's version is better than the original. The production here, phenomenal. But He sings it wrong. The Yeahs, she's on the verge of tears the entire song. And that's what maps is about. You're about to be abandoned. You're not sitting there with a cool pout on ur face and guitar in hand, it's a plea to not be left behind. Hence, here the original was almost, if not perfect.

Anyway I agree, you have to bring your own flavor when you cover. But the Rogue's failed here by trying to change the spirit of the song along with their composition alterations.
