Sonic R was a great Saturn title hands down, sure there was no real first party Sonic game from SEGA or Sonic team due to the canned Sonic Xtreme but it shows what travellers tales COULD of done with sonic in a 3d adventure. It's evident in this game that Sonic Adventure type games were possible on the saturn and SEGA basically didn't give a shit, sonic xtreme should of been passed down to SEGA of Japan or SaturnSonic should of been redeveloped and released

Radical City, my favourite level in this game. My favourite character in this though was Metal Sonic. This is deffinately the PC version - the Saturn version had horrendous 'pop-up'. The PC version sorted that.

Dad sold Sonic Gems, and I loved it beacuse of Sonic R and Sonic Fighters. I remember playing that on an arcade station by a pizza shop in a mall when I was 6. As soon as I saw Gems going on sale with that game, I bought it instantly. I just noticed, all the levels start with R...XD
