Kids who want to fuel their epeen, sacrifice their social lives or have no lives will continue to play while and will prolly keep it as the top MMO. GW2 will prolly mosty likely no beat WoW, and none are really claiming this, but many are predicting it will be highly competative and will draw a signifcant amount of their subs.

@RASSCLARTSOLJA Yeah I'm the same however everytime I go back to WoW I get bored w/in a month or so...WoW doesn't have the staying power much anymore. Of course RL doesn't allow me to raid in WoW anymore, and if you took out the raiding in WoW your end up w/ a medicore game imho. WoW has become a gear grind after gear grind after gear grind and has lost touch with the essence of RPGing imo. I highly beleive that WoW has never had any real competition however w/ GW2 n SWTOR that might change.

Because of this many will be defensive and will do the same in return. Many feel that WoW isn't really all that great, depends on point of view, and there are games out there that are better or equivilent to WoW.
