  • Man i am sad i'm sad because i used know a very old man about 70 years with a golden retriever who was about 13 years and pasted away couple of years right now the man has been heart broken but he still lives strong knowing that his dog's spirit is with him...... and the golden retriever's name was Ruffy. <3

  • THEY COME FROM SCOTLAND! <3 I love goldens :3

Not allowed A dog though -.-

  • 4:55 lol

  • @lwhitetea funnny?lol....muah

  • This dog or rott whats better

  • @sara9896 Well thats depends , rottweiler then i sugest u have good knowledge of dogs sinse its good dog IF U KNOW what u doing , they can be adoreble family pets but also ur worst nightmare if u do all wrong, the rottweiler will protect u and guard the Golden will not protect it will guard such as barking if someone walk around ur house some dosent even do that , i love rottweiler but if u want more then 1 dog and got kids golden is prbly the best if u want 1 only and know dog rott

  • @sara9896It really depends on what your looking for because rotties are really dogs for people who are experienced enough to handle rotties for they CAN be very difficult to train and you have to reallly look for specific breeding traits in rottys.

While the golden retrievers are more relaxed and kind and very very easy to train but you have to groom them ALOT more otherwise their coat will get tangled but other than that are great dogs and PERFECT for families seen as they love children.

  • mine passed away last year <3 best dogs ever. I watch this and cry:(

  • I want one but ther to expensive there lie 1,000 dollars

  • @iroNMaideN12376 How much do you expect to pay for goldie from a breed? 1,000's is average. Also, if you go to a rescue shelter, you'll save a goldies life, and pay less.

  • @iroNMaideN12376 If you live in Texas there is this dog called Julius on one of my videos up for adoption and is definitly not that much

  • My first dog was my Golden Retriever named Scooter. He was the best dog in the world. I love you Scooty, rest in peace.

  • If a German sheaperd and a gloden Retriever would breed, i would called it the golden pepper lolz

  • Is is ironic that my Golden Retriever's name was Rusty?

  • i miss my blondie

she gave me 23 puppies! and she was my best friend

  • My golden will play with and throw around a grape without breaking the skin.

  • interesting to see that the goldent retreiver is number three on the list for dog bite...not what you would expect

  • The disadvantage is their fishy air in their mouth

  • i never thought of dogs as experiments until i started watching this.

  • lol they dont have bad breath? is that a joke. my female golden has terrible breath lol.

  • @GearsIsBeast Then you are at fault for being unable to secure the proper hygiene for your dog. You should brush her teeth then.

  • @GearsIsBeast You brush her teeth, right? Every dog has bad breath if you don't brush their teeth because of the smelly dog food.

  • why does nearly every dog have hip diplaci whatever?

  • I cry a bit every time I watch this, because it reminds me of my 13-year-old Golden, Luna, who passed away last summer... She was an amazing friend and one of the most empathic creatures I've encountered in my life. What a breed! I miss her. <3

  • @MissPsychoB sorry to hear that :( why don't get another dog? :)

  • Comment removed

  • @MissPsychoB i had two goldens. my 14 year old male golden passed the past summer also. my whole family loved that dog. my second golden who is now turning 8 on april was incredibly upset after her best fried passed. shes ok now though lively as ever. goldens are awsome!!

  • i love them they are so cute

  • My Cooper is a well behaved golden retriever

  • I love this breed. Along with Labrador Retrievers. They're special, I wish I could buy and keep a Lab and a Golden <3

  • 2:00 my frend screamed lol

  • my Goldens retarded because shes afraid of the water! no more shark week for her......

  • @Georgieporgiexo1 Mines afraid of the water too! When we start prepping the bathroom to bathe him he'll go and hide. He even walks around puddles!

  • Comment removed

  • WANT!

  • Make sure you buy a good one, they bred this dog so much that some are crazy.

  • 40 people are cats..

  • It's Shadow!

  • My golden is incredibly gentle and takes things from my hand by holding it with her tongue. I got so used to her method of taking treats from me that I often forget that other breeds don't have that "soft mouth". I'm surprised I haven't lost my fingers yet!

  • my golden is afraid to swim =_= .... i love him to bits anyhow <3

  • I had a golden retriever... he past away about a month ago... it was one of the hardest things I had to let go...

  • The pitbull is actually not allowed to be brought into my country cos they ban pitbulls due to their aggression =.=

  • I have a Golden Retriver she is 9 years old but now i want a husky!! too keep them toggether hmmmm??? i wonder how husky-golden retriver mix looks like XD!

  • @KikoNikoloski1 Adoreable, but a pain in the ass to train given the husky

  • I WANT OOOOONNNEEE !! <3

  • shouldt number one agressive be pitbull?

  • mah cats on meh lap he gave it a like......CUTEZ! mah bro loves dis breed

  • You should do these kind of shows, but with pet rats. People should learn how wonderful they are!

  • once again scotland does it again :)

  • They are cute.

  • Someone must clean up the red dot paint at our happiness.

  • I had and grew up with a Golden Retriever. After having many other dogs after her, she was and always will be my favorite. I don't think I'll ever get another one though, nobody can replace my Shelby.

  • Personally I prefer German Shepherds

  • thank you lord tweedmouth, sir mcjabale whfapivnsdjv!

  • @shobin05 That's Sir Dudley Majorabanks to you, laddie.

  • i have a golden retreiver chow chow mix. (you can see hiim in my video called my dog rusty) and he is the sweetest thing you could ever meet. although he does tend to bark at strangers ALOTTT!!!

  • could you tell me am i going to have my golden for at least 12 years?

  • bites?my golden mix never bit anyone!

  • yeah...mine bites a lot!

  • Make a Dogs 101 on Schnauzers!!

  • @TheRaspberryHoney there is but just about mini schnauzers.

  • i looooooooooove goldens!I have a golden,terrier and springer mix,maybe some more,i don't know...

  • So not surprising that they don't even mention that the working retrievers are often not even golden but rather reddish and of much more slender built.

And of course there is a rising number of incidents because many people havee no idea about dogs and practically cage them 24/7, what do you expect?

  • my golden retreiver enjoys sitting in the backseat of my american champion scout and flying around with me :)

  • I luv my golden(=

  • This video gives a lot of useful information. Great! I love it and will check the other video's as well. Nice for my website meandmydogtips. Thank you for sharing!

  • one thing i hate about my golden is... once he intentionally sits and looks straight at me, i just cant help patting him. its like him saying, i know you want to cuddle me... their evil side.

  • I really want a golden retriever and a border collie when i'm older! Do they make good agility dogs?

  • golden retriever= the ultimate white people dog its almost mandatory to at least have one if your white

  • We had a golden too., shes in dog heaven now. Thats about 1 1/2 year ago now , i miss here so damn hard.... Loosing someone you love that much is the worst thing in the world.... It still hurts lime hell. I feel like i can never get over it. For me it was the best dog.

  • So true about the soft mouth my golden carries huge things in her mouth and I'm wondering how she does it XD

  • I miss my golden retriever so fricken badly.

  • My first purebred dog! :)

  • do golden retrivers haw a webbed paws

  • my mother adores this dog > <

  • Even with a "soft mouth", will it still hurt when they bite?

  • I've worked with goldens at a shelter. Some of them are great, but be careful, not all of them are great. There has been so much bad breeding with this breed that aggressive dogs are starting to come out in this breed. Always get you dog from a shelter or really do your homework on your breeder.

  • how in the world can people developed a dog?

  • I had one when I was 7 named Stuart. One of the best dogs we ever had. My little brother would ride him like a horse around the yard. Stuart died a few years ago, though... Cancer.... :;(

  • @Bell3Bot93 i feel your pain. i had two yorkies that died a few years ago too. :(

  • I Have one! :)

  • The good thing of owning this dog is, the puppies are fluffy and super cute, and when they grow up, they become pretty handsome. GR dogs are handsome.

  • one of the best easy trianble breeds you can own :)

  • 39 people are cats

  • @Disneygirl3715 make that 40 =[

  • @Disneygirl3715 u mean 40 ?

  • @nikola9728 Yeah Lol it was 39 when I made the comment at the time.

  • @Disneygirl3715 and they had a baby kitten now to bring the total upto 40

  • @Disneygirl3715

so 1 197 people are dogs then?

  • awesome but over rated blue heelers 4 life

  • Yes... but can it talk ? ( Just Kiddin' ) ;P

  • MY FRIEND DOESNT BELIEVE THAT MY DOG IS MIXED WITH AKITA AND GOLDEN RETRIEVER. CAN YOU VISIT MY CHANNEL AND TRY TO DEFINE MY BREED

  • thats not true my golden retriever has horrible breath and we feed her special mints it doesnt help

  • @LimeWater123 then your dog needs to have his mouth washed, or he/she has tar stacked

  • golden or husky?

  • golden on the bite list this vid is a liing piece of shit ive never seen a golden bite a frekin mouse

  • @531polaris how can they be on the biting list if they are known for there loyalty!!!????

  • They r similar 2 the yellow labradors

  • I want one but I've heard they smell? Is it true?

  • Jessie J?

  • love this dog

  • I have a golden and so does my sister. They ae just the cutest things ever! Just to let you know, they get really attached to their owners! We take them to the dog park, and they don't play. They follow us around! I would rate them #1 in loyalty. Very easy to train, make sure you exercise and brush them. A LOT. They gain weight VERY easily.. And they also get matted fur easily!

  • There right about the aggression in goldens. it can be present in some lines. I did my research and sought out a reputable breeder, even visited the breeders home, and still ended up with a minor resource guarder, and a dominat agressive fearful dog. I love my golden, but i think if i got another it would be a rough coated collie.

  • These dog remind me of Air Bud or Shadow from Homeward Bound.

  • my friend brooke has two golden retrievers named ben and bones. she is obsessed with them!!!!

  • SCROLL UP! YOU ARE MISSING THE CUTENESS!

  • Sure they're cute, but i've met few dogs of that kind, they were really vicious, one of them attacked my 8month husky puppy for nothing. There are cases where this breed has bitten children. They are not a perfect family dog.

  • @MegaSlutgarden That's terrible! Thanks for the heads up!

  • @SkullsNCrossbones23

That is so wrong. I have been around goldens my entire life and I have never seen them show any aggression.

  • @SkullsNCrossbones23 im scrolling down to see comments ;)

  • seeing this makes me want a goldie even more!:)

  • Aaa!! I always wanted a Golden Retriever!!

  • my family is looking for a dog. He or she will have a big yard, we want one furry, but that dosn't shed and thats big. What do you think?

  • @flipsdance123 Probobly a labordoodle.

  • @flipsdance123 Scroll up and see :D ... or Leonberger it's overbiig :D

  • If and when I get a guide dog a Golden Retriever is what I'd prefer. They've ot a great personality and amazing soft fur. Yeah they shed but then again so does my cat. And a Golden would match my cat LOL.

  • and sometimes when max is excited he pees lol good times good times

  • i have one but my friend he tryed to pet it but he couldnt reach (the puppy was on the deck) so he decided to open the door and pet him but he got away he almost got hit by a car by someone save him his name is max i miss him so much :(

  • Im considering getting a golden retriever over some other breeds i researched, it'll be the first dog i've had in about 5 years, anyway some opinions, info, tips, and stories by someone who knows about them would be appreciated on my part. I've done plenty of research but i would still like to learn more about them. Thanks.

  • We just found a golden retriever puppy near dead as it stumbled onto the road someone had obviously tossed it out.. So bringing her back to health, but she is the sweetest best behaved puppy I've ever had..

  • mines to fat/lazy to do anything but eat

  • 4:54 AWWWW <3333

  • My golden mix is an outstanding guard dog. There's no possible way anyone is getting past him. Once you see him you just can't help yourself but pet him endlessly.

  • i dont know which one i should get a golden or a dachshund

  • @CookiesTheChocolate get the golden

  • I loves this series. I am anticipating my first dog, and this has helped me decide what breeds I'd be interested in.

  • My dog was a golden lab. It's funny because both the Golden Retriever and Labrador Retriever love water but my dog was a bit scared of it. And we never had problems with him bitting. I loved him so much!! Sadly he died almost 4 years ago at 9. Rest in peace Rex <3

  • @StaalxFan12 Real sorry about Rex, im more than likely going to get a golden retreiver within the next month and was wondering if you could give me some tips, advice or anything like that, a dog like rex sounds great, thanks.

  • @thecool247365 Thank you ^^ I was only five when we got it, so I can't really help you in the training department, but I can give you one advice that my cousin (who also has a golden lab) would agree on. When you choose your puppy, pick the “odd” one that doesn’t act like the others, is left apart or looks different. They turn out to be the best dogs. Give him lots of love and exercise and he will become your best buddy. I know my cousin's dog well, and he's an amazing pet :D

  • @StaalxFan12 thanks alot, that's interesting, i never heard that before, did your cousin say why?

  • @thecool247365 That's just something we saw in our dogs when we compare with others. My cousin's dog was always left out by the others puppies and when they brought him home, they gave him so much love that they created a strong bond and it's like they totally understand eachother. And my dog never had problems with bad habits such as bitting, digging, barking.. He was a calm and loving dog (he loved to play too!), which I thought was also special.

  • @StaalxFan12 ah ok, thanks for getting back to me i really appreciate it.

  • I have a female golden; she's such a sweetie ^3^!!!

  • so love this pooch =)

  • Goldens don't have bad breath? It appears my (well my parents now i've moved out) golden may be the exception to this rule..

  • My golden is the best dog I have ever had. Very smart and loyal. As for not being a good guard dog these guys should do some more research, mine is a very very very good guard dog. From hunting to baby sitting to guarding my house this breed is the ultimate dog. I have yet to find a breed that even comes close. Ive had good luck with Labradors but the golden can take colder temps which is important in the mountains.

  • @monkybit I agree with you. My Golden is a great guard dog. Any strange noise he hears he always alerts me. Always notices new things in the house. If he was in a different room and I put a box in the living room, as soon as he sees it he starts growling and barking until I tell him that it is ok. When I'm home alone he always lays by me and doesn't leave my side until my husband gets home. Great dog ever.

  • I thoughtg Rottweilers are the most "biter" dog? How come it wasn't on the list?

  • @801Milcah they are there number 4 on the bite list

  • i have a gloden he is a wonderful dog!!!!!

  • @gogreen543211 Lucky you!

  • Do one with the Toller god damnit!

  • My grandparents have a wonderful golden retriever, but even two weeks after visiting their house, I still find dog hair on my clothes xD

  • my golden is 4 months and it is veryy aggressive : ( tips any1 ?

  • @ForceAnalogy define its agression. like is it dog or human. or both?

  • omg they bite! wow i never knew....

  • I m a shit.... A had a GR once but it DIED becoz it was bitten by a ASSHOLE Scorpion......Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

  • yay Golden Retrievers are from Scotland! :D

  • @Sunshine9719 lol

  • These things hide under your porch because they love you.

  • Lol Wanted for biting my foot XD

  • My folks have a golden doodle (golden/poodle hybrid). Think the tallness of a poodle, with the muscular build of a golden...he's the size of a baby horse. But he DEFINITELY has a golden's personality. All he wants is to please his family, and he LOVES LOVES LOVES playing fetch and swimming.

  • they're so cute

  • my dogs german shepard\ golden retriever. he's badass.

  • So Gentle

  • got an 12 week old golden retriever :DD

  • @RAVENakaR Lol I bet he was a fantastic escape artist. So far he's not dancing maybe the music has to be more upbeat , he danced earlier and I wanted to record it and put it on here but I was having too much fun watching him. :)

  • @RAVENakaR Lmao I'm trying to get my freinds Cockatoo to dance again. I'm playing It's Raining Men, he likes 90's Slow Jams so far. XD

  • @RAVENakaR Indeed.

  • @RAVENakaR Lol she's incredibly two faced.

  • @RAVENakaR But it IS at number ten I just saw it.
