The only way to take a head shot is head on like he did.There's nothing worse than following a blood trail of a deer for half a mile and find it panting out and have to put another round in it, that meat is almost inedible from adrenaline... and yes I've seen that video of that careless shot from the side.
@max4hunter1 shooting a doe with a yearling isnt against the rules of hunting...its just most people dont do it cus it isnt right....however i have a solution. i ususally shoot the doe and the yearling. it might sound cruel but the yearlings meet is just as good sometimes even better then the adults. the only downfall is you dont get as much meat.
you don't shoot a doe that has a young one around they both die even if you only bag one of em. why not go for buck's rather than doe's anyway. look way better on the wall and much more meat. and if you don't take the meat back you are a horrible person.

I always take neck shots on does.. Bigger target than the head, and they always drop. In the neck you've got the spinal cord, trachea, and large arteries; they don't even flinch. Thing about headshots is, you're trying to hit the brain not just the head, and deer aren't blessed with very large brains...
that's not a fawn, it's another doe...this was probably a doe shot at the end of the deer season when most states have a one or two day doe hunt to cull the entire deer herd. If this guy shot a doe out of season, then he's a d-bag and should be prosecuted.

I've hunted my entire life...if you shoot a doe, you're shooting it JUST for food so a good head shot is THE most humane shot you can take. Instant death as opposed to shooting it thru the lungs or heart and it dies in a minute or two as most bucks are shot to not damage the antlers or head.

If you shoot a doe in the head area there is a higher percentage that you will miss and cause more harm to the animal then if you would shoot it in the in the spinal cord or the heart (as a good hunter would do). + The animal is more likely to die more humane then if you shoot it in the head (like an unprofessional hunter does).
And if you're not out killing everyday, you would want the trophy!
notice the words "good head shot"...a deer shot in the heart or lungs can hold its' breath for a minute or two and run while dying. A good head shot, which this one was, is instantaneous as the video shows. I'm done...this isn't even an intelligent discussion.

IF you on the other hand manage to miss a "head shot" and hit the jaw for example the animal could run several of kilometers before dying.

It's called menstruation. eggs are unfertilized so there is no 'chicken' in them. If it's unfertilized, it's gonna come out and sit there..no murder involved.

Yeah he got a human headshot...but you arent supposed to shoot them in the head, because it is such a small target and you can end up shooting their jaw or something, leaving them to get away and die a REALLY slow death.

The only way to take a head shot is head on like he did.There's nothing worse than following a blood trail of a deer for half a mile and find it panting out and have to put another round in it, that meat is almost inedible from adrenaline... and yes I've seen that video of that careless shot from the side.

I always take neck shots on does.. Bigger target than the head, and they always drop. In the neck you've got the spinal cord, trachea, and large arteries; they don't even flinch. Thing about headshots is, you're trying to hit the brain not just the head, and deer aren't blessed with very large brains...

I've hunted my entire life...if you shoot a doe, you're shooting it JUST for food so a good head shot is THE most humane shot you can take. Instant death as opposed to shooting it thru the lungs or heart and it dies in a minute or two as most bucks are shot to not damage the antlers or head.

If you shoot a doe in the head area there is a higher percentage that you will miss and cause more harm to the animal then if you would shoot it in the in the spinal cord or the heart (as a good hunter would do). + The animal is more likely to die more humane then if you shoot it in the head (like an unprofessional hunter does).
And if you're not out killing everyday, you would want the trophy!

IF you on the other hand manage to miss a "head shot" and hit the jaw for example the animal could run several of kilometers before dying.

@TheWeeaboo the unborn chickens were never a life lol. it not like abotion-.lol that is a fetus which is a egg already fertilized . a chicken egg that we eat has NOT been fertilized yet. i am prolife and I am against abortion ..chicken eggs is not the same thing . im sorry but that gave me a good laugh when you compared a unfertilized chicken egg to a human fertilized egg. if having a period (which is the same as laying eggs) is wrong then so is masterbating lol.

@DarkBeauty1989 im glad you could laugh because im not seriously blaming you for eating chicken eggs but you are ignoring my point. And ofcourse masturbating is wrong. ^^ Like i said its about moral. I am not against abortion because the unborn child may be better off never getting into this cruel world when it is apperently too much for the parents to bear at that moment. But straying too far off topic now. And I dont think we can convince eachother since we think so diffrently :)

@TheWeeaboo EVER NOTICE EVERYONE THAT SUPPORTS ABORTION HAS ALREADY BEEN BORN? lol . I only think abortion is ok when the mothers life is in danger or maybe rape...but even if I was raped I would have the baby since it is mine. I know there is a soul and since I dont know when the soul enters a vessel I dont know when it becomes murder. NO Excuse to have an abortion as a form of birthcontrol when they have adOPTION.

@DarkBeauty1989 Like I said we think way too diffrently. There are so many reason why abortion could be very sensible no matter how cruel or poor a decission. And since I dont believe in souls there is a fundamental clash in how we could reason eachother. I do hope though that you keep your mind open to everything else as much as the souls of animals. Because even certain gods werent so kind to grand animals a place in their heavens :)

@TheWeeaboo I dont have a religion ..I am agnostic. I use to be christian..so I agree gods were cruel to animals. Buddha wasnt :)
