I think its more about love and hate. because sometimes you meet someone, who one moment you think there the one and the next moment wanna strangle them then next. Its about the good and the bad. In the end you no shes capable of horrible things, but its that cunning crazy that makes you insane and in love. and you can still have feelings for your ex. this song makes sense for lingering feelings.

Back in the 70's Billy used to play at Tulane University a couple of times a year. I never missed one of those shows. Then , he became a big pop star and played bigger arenas. It made me appreciate those Tulane gigs even more. Those shows were in McAllister Auditorium. Not a small place, but much more intimate than a basketball arena or a football stadium.
