I like the straighter effect that the heat gun gives, rather than the blowdryer. But, if you want more of a splatter effect, use a blowdryer!

@jennnix3 it takes about 20-30 minutes altogether, it's pretty quick, but you need to make sure you have a heat gun, and not a hair dryer. You can get them at Michael's, AC Moore, or any craft/hobby store. They get A LOT hotter than hair dryers, but they can cause a fire, so be careful!

@jennnix3 With a hairdryer, the easier way, it take like at the most a minute for the crayons to begin melting, after that it's your choice of how much you want it to melt.

Do you only glue down the top of the crayon, like where the wrapper is still on?

@rdelaney36 yeah, but use something like epoxy, as it's heat resistant, so it won't melt/burn as easy as other glues!
