I personally think that Kairi loves Sora in a 'I want to be your girfriend way' yet I don't think that Sora feels the same. He sees her more like a sister or a very close friend (although in the first game he wants to share the paopu fruit with her). The close conection between Sora and Riku, however, shows that there is more to it then friendship.
Sora cried when he found Riku and I think that in the first game he was somewhat confused and thought he loved kairi(since he never knew the bond between brother and sister did he?).in the second game he has grown emotionally and I believe he realises deep down that there is a very strong conection with Riku.It could be that he loves him 'that' way, but it could also be different.We don't know,nobody does and everyone has their own conclusions.
And what's with the 'are you gay?'question?would it make any difference?there are lots of girls who like shounen-ai as there are many guys who love shoujo-ai.and yes I know this comment was written long ago, but I really feel like I need to say this to you.Not that I mean this in a bad way though ^^
