I guess that sounded harsher than I meant it too. Whitehead has made a "career" of mimicking a literary style and lifestyle. His work and approach reminds me of an impressionist or, perhaps more kindly, as a "Bush" to, say, Kerouac's "Nirvana".
Nice, but its a shame the piano player didn't stop in the right places, if you listen to the Lord himself, his piano player stops playing when he reaches particular points in the story, to enhance the power of the vocal delivery .
Dave Amram never knows when to stop playing. I saw him at the 50th anniversary celebration of the meeting of Ginsberg, Kerouac and Burroughs at Town Hall, and they needed a shepherd's hook to get him off the stage.
This will never match the real deal. Sorry, NEVER. I can imitate him pretty well, but I aint uploading the result to the tube.

Wrong, just wrong and though I like Amram's music, this is a mismatch and doesn't cut it.

The Nazz is all they put on about his Lordship. Hope they uploaded The Bugbird. I love that.

David Amram, who has accompanied Buckley at some of his shows, is on the piano in a spontanious thus improvised get together with Jason.
