Thank you. I used aluminum screen over mine. I used a bowl over it as a form to smash and fold the screen, ran wire thru it to hold it on, then trimmed off the excess. I felt so much better immediately after that. In fact I have felt emotionally balanced since then. Oh, btw the electric company flat out lied and said it is not a smart meter. No answer as to why an FCC number was listed on it however.

You have no clue. Smart meters save the utilities money, and can help you realize the energy you are using much more easily. With more knowledge of the energy you are using, you too can save money.

Many smart meters do not use RF, and regardless, it is much safer than having a cell-phone held up to your ear. These meters reduce errors that come with manual reading.

These meters are not spying on you any more than your cell-phone company spies on you, or google spies on you.

The device you are holding most certainly does not measure frequency. Judging from the units, I'd assume you are referring to power density. 200 milliwatts per square meter (mW/m^2) is actually well below the FCC's guidelines for maximum permissible exposure (MPE) in the 900 MHz spectrum. It is not a Gauss meter, etc. That's either a Cornet ED25G or ED65, both of which are quality meters designed for detecting 100MHz - 3GHz. If anything the numbers the meter is showing are lower than in reality because it does not have an external antenna.
