  • Bought one in 1990 when I went to grad school. Just a glorified word processor.

  • oh man, this brings back oooooold memories, my first pc ever was a Macintosh SE, and this video of the tour disk reminds me when i first got the pc and inserted the tour disk ...... thanks for posting it.

  • im only 10 jeez

  • how big is the hdd?

  • @edex67 It was 20mb at the time of filming.

  • It sounds to me like that disk may be on its way out, I hear it making scraping sounds, it's never good when a floppy diskette does that.

  • this can´t beat DOS/windows

  • @bilcza Why not?

  • @Lachlant1984 this boots faster than pc

  • @bilcza

well my windows loads in 13 secs and what was on the macs back then

  • @rriilleeyyyy and whats about MS-DOS ? ;)

  • @bilcza what

dos is a windows program so without it mac would be rubbish

  • @rriilleeyyyy NO?!?!?

MS-DOS stays for : MicroSoft-Disk Operating SYSTEM and it´s A OPERATING SYSTEM (not like Windows) ;)

  • nice macintosh

  • Those were powerful computers for their time. While the Mac Classic II had a 10 MB RAM ceiling the SE/30's could take 64 MB and with a little tinkering could take 128MB of RAM!

  • @kabj06 the SE/30 came on the market WAY before the Classic II as well, if I'm not mistaken! Like TWO years maybe...?

  • Cool! I have one

  • Awesome. How many macs do you have?

  • does this make take 400/800 kilobyte floppys, or what kind does it take??

  • It takes 800k floppys.

  • thanks, i want one some day and i have some 800k floppies for my macintosh 512k enhanced
