whose gonna put both of their fingers over there when ur trying to download or upload something? ur not even supposed to hold a phone like that. show me that the downloads stop when u hold the phone properly, then can u call it a flaw
@MegaBearGarden it DOES do the same thing when holding it normally. In the right hand sometimes my pinky touches the gap on the left side of the phone; in the left hand, my palm sometimes touches it. I made the video this way to show that only a minimal contact across that left side black strip was needed to get the bandwidth to drop. Mainly because Apple claimed all phones do the same thing when a hand is wrapped around them. Obviously not what's happening here: antenna detuning.
That is not a cause, it is the result of the problem of the signal booster. Did you know that worst signal drop what you can get with iPhone 4 is -24dB? And only -9dB is caused by the _touch_. -16dB drop is caused by your hands close the phone, not by the touch. And even other phones gives easily from -15dB to -17dB drops in worst case while keeping smartphone in other hand and using it with other..
Great test.. Btw, Apple have NO plans on recalling their phones.. Mainly because they think that MORE people are dumb enough to keep their iPhones and buy a bumper guard and install that "firmware update" RATHER than those people who are going return their iPhones for a Refund.. So they just continue to release misleading statements about the real problems. Now that's iClever !
hahaha iphone.... crap.

was this fixed with a case?
Dan18Ward 1 year ago
@Dan18Ward I don't use cases, they're bulky, look bad, and make it hard to slide in my pocket.
Grymac 1 year ago
@Grymac good point even so i prefer protection over the ability to slide in to jeans

@Grymac Totally Agree! :)
