Great video... Two things: one... What were those infantry u were using? they were amazing. Also, why'd u leave ur general all the way back. 1. He gives morale to ur troops. 2. He IS heavy calvary, so u could own those light infantry. But... like i said, great video XD

1. The infantry i was using is highland nobles, they are awesome.

2. I left my general back because this is not rome total war where you can kill everything with your general cavalry. Your general here can be killed very easily if you send him to attack spearman, no matter is it light or heavy spearmen. I use general when enemy is fleeing, that is the best way for him to gain exp.

You can unlock Scotland by either beating them in the Grand Campaign or beating the Grand Campaign the whole way through. You could also try and modding it, so that the Scots play right off the bat, but unless you know what you're doing, this is highly unrecommended.

scotland is very good they have amazing inantry,especially pikemen(pikemen from hell for the mongols),decent archers only prob is that they have range like peasent archers,and they have awful cavalry except mailed knights and feudal knights they have NOTHING,ABSOLUTLEY NOTHING!!!

Buddy, what I do is I get 6 units of Highlanders and 6 units of Highland Nobles, with 3 units of Border Horse and 4 units of Highland Archers, and then the Bodyguard, and attack. The Highlanders scare the enemy infantry, the Nobles shred anything in their path, and when the enemy routs, the Border horses capture them, because they're so fucking fast.

Try it sometime. I haven't lost a battle with it yet, on very hard difficulty.

this is probably against the computer. i would always fill the gaps with tercio pikemen. and in reserves i would keep heavy cavalry. it would be a much better fight.
