  • The good news is that we aren't going to be the most religious first-world nation for much longer. The bad new is that it's not because we are going to become less religious.

  • Thank You AronRa your videos help me argue my position without aggresion.

  • If AronRa were running for president, I'd vote for him!

  • Yeah. Wake 'em up Aron!

  • Religious people are immoral. First they lie to themselves that there is a god. Then they lie to others that there is. Then they try to force that belief on everyone.

That is why I say that religion and the belief in god and/or the supernatural is the True Evil in the world.

  • What disturbs me the most, is people preying on primitive minds to induct followers and monetary contributions. KNOWING they are lying in the process.

  • Its going to be a long hard struggle to see the end of religion ,in the end logic ,common sense ,rational thinking ,humanism has to win for the survival of civilisation otherwise its a future of looking forward to bended knees ,religious divides, superstition ,bigotry, immense hypocrisy and being told what to think by self appointed religious types.

  • The thinking atheist has got editing. He is a really good feature of the community, and a cool voice too.

  • I will call a guy a moron if he's a moron, but that doesn't really bother me. What has always pissed me off is some snake oil salesman with a schoolboy's grin blatantly lying to a flock of people too ignorant to know any better. These people tend to have very little money to spare, and they still fork it over to their church. That is the end of the line. About 90% of that money does not go any further than that church. It disgusts me.

  • very good. wake them up!

  • I looked up "Gangsta" and "Badass" in the dictionary and in both cases there was a pic of AronRa in his suit.

  • Dallas has the most mega churches??!! WOW!!

Anyways, as a fellow atheist, I'd say it's not so much what percentage are religious, but what percentage are looney creationists?? That's the big problem in the US.

  • aron...youre a hero...and we appreciate you...your energy that i know is hard to exert..is needed to prevent our race from slipping away into a haze of disillusion...when you get tired...pleez remember us in OUR struggle

  • Well said Mr. Nelson.

  • How many times and how frequently can you like a video and have it counted? Because this deserves, by my rough calculation, infinite likes.

  • Aronra was instrumental in my deconversion from Christianity to Atheism. Thank you, Aronra, I am a better person because of you.

  • You sir, are not the hero they deserve, but the hero they need.

  • I cant beleive they are teaching creationut crap in schools

actually, its Texas,, I can beleive it

And people why atheists are becoming militant. Beleive what you like, but keep your crap at home

  • @podoau Despite what Perry says, no, they're not teaching creationism in Texas schools. (At least not officially.) You'd think the governor of the state should know that, right? What's sad is that even Perry is far better than Palin or Bachmann.

  • @Eosimias100 Then why do the Texas school board want to change the textbooks that are used in the schools, so that creatonut crap is included ?

  • @podoau The key phrase there is "want to." There's a movement to teach creationism/"ID" in public schools, but so far it has been unsuccessful (thank Jeebus).

  • @Eosimias100 then one can only hope that it is squashed.

and people wonder why we atheists are becoming militant.

  • @podoau Let's all remember to vote.

  • USA has done a lot of great things. I love the country and just holidayed there for 3 weeks. The problem is it's like a toddler with religion being the dummy/pacifier. The nation needs to grow out of that. Applaud what AronRa's doing.

  • @LAnonHubbard

A cynical part of me believes that Americans have no consistent cultural identity (i.e. pluralism) and religion at least gives us the illusion of one.

  • I got chills. In a good way.

  • AronRa discussing a salt shaker would be interesting.

"The salt shaker, it shakes salt onto your food and alters the interaction between your food and your taste buds making it more tolerable or less tolerable for eating depending on your own individual preferences. The salt shaker: it belongs on every table in every home."

LOL! Keep it up AronRa! Love your vids! More vids!

  • @June28July

Well, he'd probably draw a curve showing the ideal level of pleasurability between too much and too little. Then he'd demonstrate that the curve might shift left or right depending on the population. Basically, he would have a standard deviation curve that quantifies where everybody's ideal median level of salt lies for a given standardized food-item idealized food item.

  • I am proud as hell of this Texan fighting against the indoctrination of children in Texas. Do we as intelligent humans actually accept it to be true that a snake talks? That a man is made of clay? That Jonah lived inside a fish? A guy walked on water? Resurrection? Holy virgin rape/birth? Women to serve man? Admire a man willing to sacrifice his child for god? Come on people... Religion's ignorance must die.

  • @tsunami770 all those things are written as myths, just as they are in other religions

  • @Tommy4216 If they were written as myth then no religion would have a claim on being able to perform divine miracles or extraordinary things. In essence a religion without supernatural magic would quickly cease to attract an audience. In fact, they are not written as myths, they are written as actual events which religions will claim actually happened. Are you saying christians know them to be myths (made up stories to explain the world around them)? Jesus was not born from a virgin? etc..

  • @tsunami770 yeah that's what i'm saying, just as when the buddah was born he immediately stood, walked and could speak. of course these things never happend, it's just how people of the time spoke.

  • @Tommy4216 Understood.

  • @tsunami770 Exactly. How long does it take a Christian to use the word "faith" in an argument. This whole "Well the Bible is allegorical/metaphorical" excuse has only started to pop up as science continues to provide real answers to mysteries. Stories like Adam and Eve and Noah's Ark have only become "allegorical" AFTER science has shown how they're complete hogwash. Convenient. I don't know which fallacy is committed more: argument from ignorance, special pleading or moving the goalposts.

  • @tsunami770 Do we need to clarify that there’s no such thing as a psychic?

What, are we fucking 2? Do we actually think that Horton Heard a Who? Do we still think that Santa brings us gifts? That Michael Jackson hasn’t had facelifts? Are we still so stunned by circus tricks that we think that the dead would wanna talk to pricks like John Edwards?

  • @RockBanned Sick rhyme, yo.

  • @JoshwithaJ Alas, it's not mine lol. It's from a beat poem called "Storm" by Tim Minchin. If you haven't heard it, I highly recommend searching for it on youtube. Tim Minchin is an absolute genius and one of the greatest musical performers of our generation.

  • @RockBanned Thanks, dude! That guy is fucking great!

  • @tsunami770

but dontcha know?..you're not supposed to take the Bible literally. the Bible is a collection of metaphors designed by an invisible, immaterial, transcendent entity to teach his special creations how to live their lives.

  • Love this!

  • @EmmanuelGoldstein2

"My entire family, as far back as i can remember, has always been able to communicate with each other telepathically.. "

  • @EmmanuelGoldstein2

Sure, i call myself stupid from time to time. Since it's you who can read minds you know that this entirely depends on compared to whom.

  • @EmmanuelGoldstein2

Wow. And it could be tested so easily. Wanna commit?

Thought so, damn, there you go nobel-prize...

  • I am most impressed. Not only is the message excellent, but the quality of this vid is quite professional.

  • @lautz73 The earth does revolve around the sun.

  • @EmmanuelGoldstein2 pics or it didnt happen

  • Wake'em up Aron.........or die tryin', civilization needs ppl like you. Gob bless you

  • Those megachurches are ridiculous. The only reason why they exist is to make a massive profit. They're one big scam. I don't know how the people who attend those megachurches cannot see this.

  • @MrDatoMike My level of understanding? Dude, I'm working on my associates degree. All of what I know(i.e. my language skills), was learned on my own time by just pursuing the knowledge. I'm a displaced worker; a former shift foreman at a factory. My highest academic milestone is a GED and tech school certifications. There is nothing stellar about my "enlightenment", I'm just unwilling to leave questions lying fallow. The facts are out there, brother...but you've got to WANT to find them.

  • AronRa has admitted that it is possible that monkeys will come out of his ass. This is undeniable proof of devolution.

  • Yes, sir! Let us not hide from the truth. Let us not allow others to make us a shame of seeking the truth. Let us hold those whom make incredulous statements accountable for the truth.

  • 3 people live by the standard "Ignorance is Bliss"

  • @MrDatoMike "and do need god to get through things."

So what do you think would happen if you somehow found out, 100%, that a god does not exist? Would you keep 'believing' it did? What effect would it have on your life?

  • Me likes :))

  • Great words. Silly music.

Why does EVERYthing seems to need a backing track these days. It's so boring.

  • This looks promising. Will it be uploaded later?

  • Amazing Aron, you are the man!

  • You do great work, Aron.

  • I was stunned when I discovered that atheist activist groups like the Atheist Experience (for example) are from Texas... America's brain tumor. Then I discovered AronRa & a lot more Texans strongly opposing religions stepping into education & legislation. But when you think of Texas, it's no wonder atheist activism would be flourishing in a place where it might be the most needed.

  • @88Keyz101

No offense Texas. I dont mean all of you. I just mean the education board & governors, etc...

  • @88Keyz101 No surprise, actually. Even the atheists subscribe to "Don't mess with Texas". :D

  • @88Keyz101 I'm happy to say that I'm from Texas and an atheist.

  • I find it fascinating that 17 of the 22 states in the US with the highest rates of teenage pregnancy (and very similar statistics for divorce, family interventions, and suicide) - are the most religious states in the US. And in every case, the top 2-7 are the same states.

That is what religion does to you, to your family, and to your loved ones.

That is the image of christianity the rest of the world sees. That, and George W. Bush.

  • @MrDatoMike Considering your grammar, I can understand from where your opinion originates. But it is still hollow on one critical point: A lie told to offer succor is still a lie. The truth, while sometimes uncomfortable-painful even, is still the correct choice because you can make real peace with the truth; you can make nothing with falsehood except more falsehoods. A lie will fix not anything. It will only prolong the suffering and compound it with a failure to understand why you suffer.

  • Hey Aron! It's nice to see some quality production value for a change! These vids look and sound great. This goes a long way in having your message taken seriously. Good job to you, the camera op, and the video editor!

  • on your needs NOW.!!!

  • bow be 4 AronRa...

  • Heh heh, the cards are a little ego centric, but they are not incorrect

  • The Church of Scientology is a paid sponsor???

    KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK..

I'M VERY PROUD TO BE A SPONSOR..

  • @AlhiFalaNashoba What does that have anything to do with belief? Emotions are not belief neither are opinionated arguments. Please start making sense.

  • "Wake up a sleeping nation" I've heard that at a mega-church before. You're absolutely right, AronRa. The problem with unsubstantiated claims, religious or not, is that people use them to build decision-making models that simply don't reflect reality. These models may provide the right answers at times, that's what makes them so hard to combat.

  • Really beautifully said!

Say, is it just me or does the "A" part of the atheist light bulb logo look strangely like the combadges from Star Trek TNG?

  • @M3n747

    I sorta noticed that too

  • Where to find the actual interview?

  • I agree with all you say as usual.. just the nation or even the whole f*cking world is not sleeping, it is braindead, waking them up won't do the job, kicking them out of coma would be the more appropriate term.

  • Personally, I have no real problem with all the people that can't follow logic or those that believe bullshit because it makes them feel better. Not everyone can be equally strong, either intellectually or emotionally.

What bothers me is that at the centre of religion are people that are fully aware of the lies and the fallacies, but they are constantly making up more and pushing them to every direction.

  • Religion is the opiate of the masses, if we(atheists) are to take away that opiate we better replace that opiate addiction with the sweet drug that is truth.

Thanks Aron, for being another great truth dealer.

  • You should've play Thor.

  • Are you running these on TV? you should be

  • Ever heard of symbolism? Symbolic meaning? Heaven forbid you look deeper than the face of it to see who is really there.

Now if the bible tells you lies, is the bible lying, are the people lying, or is God been purposefully lying to you? Now if God is a liar, and gives you lies that you eventually find out to be such, is it not really just telling the truth- that IT is indeed a liar?

In this way the bible is all truth- because it has so many classic lies, and by this shows who God is.

  • But please, go ahead and blame some human for what God has done. This is what God ALWAYS does. Finds someone to blame. So blame Jesus, blame Moses, blame John or Mark or the pope or the Vatican or the entirety of the followers of Christianity. Blame the Muslims, the Jews, for such delusion, for such completely mislead hypocritical BS as we have seen. But God- hell no. God doesn't exist.

Of course. Of course. But blaming humans for any wrong is God's favorite pastime. See this in the bible.

  • @Carex09

    -

" But blaming humans for any wrong is God's favorite pastime. See this in the bible."

    -

I like you you talk about god and humans as they are different when the only reason you believe in your god is because humans told you to.

  • @Edbrad No, actually most of what I know about God I learned from God itself. Same place that Moses, Jesus and that crazy person standing on your street corner with underwear on their head talking to themselves gets their information from (which I suppose is an indication of how trustworthy a source this is...).

You won't believe it until you see it I would guess with your own mind as I have.

  • @Carex09 You never learned anything from god. God doesn't exist.

  • @jymbo1969 OK then. Go back to your imagination, to your daydreams, to the dreams of night and nightmares still, go back to your creativity- to words sprouting forth from the "muse"...

You don't have any idea at all do you? Where this comes from? Sweet dreams honey...

  • I see at least someone has bought into the "con job". Sure it is all you. Nevermind that you couldn't remember where you left your wallet 20 minutes ago, looked all over the house, trying to remember, mind a COMPLETE BLANK. Then, all of a sudden, it came to you where you left it...just out of the blue eh? Nevermind you can never see more than one of your memories at a time and most people REALLY don't think before they speak. Whatever puppet. At least know who pulls the strings.

  • @Carex09 Sorry but are you smoking weed?

  • @MrDevilstreaker If you don't like the message, attack the messenger. But really I didn't make this up and smoking weed really helps me to cope with all of it.

If you had God talking to you and no one ever believed IT was torturing you, then you would probably need a bowl to smoke too. Get off your high horse...

  • @Carex09 Whatever that stuff is you're smoking- you need to pass it around as it must be really good shit

  • @MrDevilstreaker I'm pretty sure you don't want any of what God hath been smokin' though. It is us. Burn baby burn.

  • @Edbrad I definitely don't believe as anyone else though, other schizophrenics and the bible included, and have failed to get one single believer in what God is saying, including myself. Please see some of my numerous videos like "God Is A Pathological Compulsive Liar", "Because Of God Abortion Should Remain Legal" and more!

  • Although I used to live in Dallas and don't any longer, I'm glad that people like Aronra live there still. A small voice of reason in a huge metroplex of fools.

  • aron, after Hitchen dies :( , you must become one of the 4 horsemen.

  • Aron is awesome. Plain and Simple.

  • people go 3 times a week? that is craziness right there

  • This format should work well for TV between the ads, but it will not be on Fox News :-)

  • Keep up the great work, AronRa. You're well appreciated.

  • I know several religious people in the UK who are nothing but the sweetest, most intelligent and kind-hearted people i know. As an atheist, i have nothing against them, and vice-versa. It's because they understand the real world and use their religious principles for good, not to proselytize. That's the difference between moderates and the lunatics you see so often in the States. Those nutters give ordinary religious folk a bad name.

  • @karadan100 i ve never lived in the uk but i ve lived in the states for 30 years and was indoctrinated early on into a methodist/southern baptist upbringing. what you describe is spot on in terms of the nutters here in the states..this is reinforced fantastically by the fact that a politician has to hide the fact that they may be atheist because that candidate would never ever ever win unless they are a member of some chr.church. it s enough already, civilization needs to progress beyond this

  • Its been ages since the last AronRa video. Aron, I hope you'll post video of your talk at the Convention.

  • I'm from England and i would like a holiday to Dallas Texas, am i going to get hounded by people like what religion am i, what's my church called etc etc, i'm Atheist by the way.

  • @peteq1972 I doubt you'll be hounded as you walk down the street but I would go telling the world and his wife that your an Atheist either.

  • @geeksqrd Yeah that had occured to me lol, i might even go so far as to say i think there is a god but i don't go to church or anything back home :/ just to keep them off my fuckin case !!

  • @peteq1972

Not likely. It's not quite that bad. However, I am obligated to point out that Austin is a much better destination than Dallas.

  • @grimthane No i don't think it's that bad really, lol.. Are Austin and Dallas far from each other? I know Texas is massive, you can fit the whole of the UK inside Texas!

  • @peteq1972

"Are Austin and Dallas far from each other?"

It's roughly a 4 hour drive from Austin to Dallas, but in terms of attitude, they couldn't be further apart. Austin is, by far, the least right-wing city in Texas.

  • @grimthane Sounds like an ok place.

  • This video would've looked epic with an animation of the universe behind Aron.

  • The US is in the process of becoming a second world nation and this new politicized version of Christianity is part of that process. I've come to the conclusion that America is doomed and the tipping point is about now or the very near future.

I really want to be wrong because the death throes will be dangerous for the entire world. American democracy is fading and will soon be a thing of the past, forgotten by most Americans who ignore their own history.

  • @MacNutz2 "because the death throes will be dangerous"

Oh man you cannot imagine what looms there....

  • @RegioLunar I think I can imagine it, that's why my dreams are so restless these days. I'm originally from a semi rural area in Alabama. Politics as "spiritual warfare" is what happened in Uganda, Kenya, and other parts of eastern Africa. Now it hits America. Christian dominionism, the political/religious movement that will end America and its democratic experiment.

  • @MacNutz2 Oh man it´s gona be FAR MORE worse than that.

This "spiritual warfare" ,"good vs evil" is only one element. It´s the attitude to run the new schutzstaffel machine.

You´ve allready completed the main structure over there: private prisons, armies and secret services only waiting to be brought together when the "liberators of the markets" unleash total capitalism.

Transforming the entire human life into monetary values is the essence of the black order economy.

  • @MacNutz2 A corporation uniting prisons, army and secret service THIS has been the very structure of what we build.

The extermination was economic in nature.

The attitude of transforming your entire life into monetary values has allready permeated the US society.

Now you´re willing to "let them DIE!" because of monetary needs.

Finnally you built the corporate equivalent to the schutzstaffel.

You willfully summon this old horror again......

  • @RegioLunar I'm assuming you are using a general "you". :) I left the States for Canada during the Vietnam fiasco. I'm an evil atheist deserter. And proud of it.

I've been watching this development for a while and it scares the crap out of me, having noted the many things you briefly mention here.

    Bad times are acomin'

  • @MacNutz2 "using a general "you""

Yup, don´t feel responsible for this emerging new order...

    "Bad times are acomin'"

    There´s time left!

    watch?v=d39biIxeuss

"Those who fight can loose, those who refuse to have allready lost."

  • I consider Aron an intellectual hero.

  • @lotmein20 Awesome :)

  • Waking up a sleeping nation? Trouble is that the sleep is self induced. People WANT to believein this stuff no matter how lacking it is of any evidence.

  • "Exactly where are your loyalties, Commander? "

  • Definitely a con job! Done by con artists, who rely on the ignorance of the crowds, and work hard to promote it by sneaking creationism in schools. It is totally in their own interest because they make their living that way!

  • This video gave me goosebumps.

It felt like Aron was ready to dish out some serious ass-whoopings.

  • Comment removed

  • @AlhiFalaNashoba It's a lack of belief.

  • @AlhiFalaNashoba I can't proof that there isn't, but you can't proof that there is either, let alone that your version is the correct god. There is a chance that there is or is not a god or more than one god. However based on what I know about the world and how I perceive it, a god is highly unlikely to my view. And so I will not submit or believe that there is. If by the off chance there is a god and this god is benevolent to humans, then I need not to fear, for I am human and act as human.

  • I hope you're not too late to spread reason, Aron. I think your country may be getting close to civil war again over mostly religious BS.

  • aron looks damn spiffy in a suit.

  • I'd prefer it if they'd take out the music

  • @lotmein20 Since gods, as you say, are "unknowable" that means they have nothing that demonstrates they actually exist, therefore they are IRRELEVANT until they can be demonstrated to be relevant. So agnosticism, while a valid position, is also an irrelevant position with respect to the natural world. Who cares if gods are unknowable? They are irrelevant. BTW I am agnostic & atheistic wrt gods existing.

  • Aron for president

  • It staggers me that such a great nation as the States can have so many citizens who actually believe the bible as the literal word of god. Wake up you guys, or you're gonna fall behind other nations.

  • @bonnie43uk They already have on every indicator that the worlds nations are indexed on, such as for medical care, crime rates, employment, divorce and teen pregnancy etc. European countries and Japan (well pre current economic crisis, and tsunami) now lead the world, I believe.

It's very sad! Used to be one of the leading nations on nearly ALL indicators!

I blame the lack of education in general, and the conceited ideas of 'American Exceptionalism'.

  • @bonnie43uk About thirty years late for that, US dropped the few "First" anything it ever had way back in the 70s.

Poverty and religiosity are directly related. There's a reason for that.

  • @bonnie43uk Believe me when I say, there are lots of people over here that are in 100% agreement with you

  • @bonnie43uk the reason it is so powerfull its exactly because of the religion, theyr like zombies its immorally wrong to kill someone, BUT IF GOD TOLD ME TO DO IT they do it. politicians just put the word "GOD" on theyr campaign and BAM they presidents. religious people are easily manipulated and maybe thats why it been popular in so many countries, if u look back at history ALL great nations had slaves, sure now we get a few money for our "work" but the slaves also had food a house and familly.

  • @Feathalise7

Not all slaves, Africans enslave by Muslims (specifically it was Ottoman Empire that overtook most Islamic world back then) were all castrated, so they had no families, no kids. Also there were no uprisings, as each new generation of slaves were fresh from Africa without experience and connections from the previous generations of slaves.

  • @bonnie43uk They already have :(

  • @bonnie43uk They already have mate.

  • @bonnie43uk Which should tell you they are no greater than any other nation. Just less lucky in terms of what their political "leaders" decided to brainwash them with to make them easier to rule. It makes sense as they are far more numerous than any European nation.

  • @bonnie43uk What do you mean "gonna" we already are.

  • @bonnie43uk Too late.

  • @bonnie43uk your like a christian who hold the foundation of truth as the word of god. "It staggers me that such a great nation as the States" well maybe the states is Kind of shit.

  • @bonnie43uk Believe me, it's frustrating when you don't believe the bible as the literal words of god, and you have to stand by and watch your nation fall behind because many of your fellow citizens do believe.

  • @bonnie43uk Sadly, I think it is without question that we already have fallen behind. With the 46th lowest infant mortality rate, I can't believe any developed nation would give us any respect.

  • @bonnie43uk - Yea, sad. Just think of us a West Afghanistan.

  • @bonnie43uk We already have :(. I wish we were like Japan...very scientific and non supersticious coutnry (for example it has the highest % of people who accept evolution in the world).

  • @ForChwo And their behaviour in the tsunami crisis puts everyone else to shame. Very little looting and good discipline, us brits should pay close attention to Japan and opt for more science centers like what Newcastle Upon Tyne is doing.

  • @ganados0 Japan and Scandinavia basically PROVE that the religious argument of "if you dont believe in the bible you have no morals!" Is complete BS. The most atheistic countries have the lowest crime rates in the world...Japan has a murder rate of like 0.4 per 100,000 (the US has a murder rate of around 5.3) and it's over 67% atheist.

  • @ForChwo Over 67 percent atheist ? Japan ? Didn't know that. Might go there next holidays.

  • @gilless429

Not sure if that's Atheist" or "non religious", there is some difference.

Besides It's not even the biggest number, our Northern neighbors°Estonians are Nr.1 with approx. 79% while my country is Nr.14 or 15 on the top of the list of most godless ones. 8D

  • @gilless429 I went to Japan last year, freaking amazing country. Changed my perception of america forever. I used to think while we had problems (like religious) idiots we were the "best" (like for quality of life)...but boy was I wrong. Japan is so clean, modern (not only do they have subways everywhere they have above rail, maglevs, shinkansen high speed trains etc) and soooo polite and friendly. Customer service was amazing.

  • @ForChwo Yeah, I also heard that they were quite nice. That's a change from deary America isn't it ?

  • @gilless429 yeah, but at least in your country there is a strong secular tradition. Though it seems like there is some strange stuff going on with the muslims (seems like the govt is too lenient on some of the stuff they do). Not all of the US is bad, certain regions like the northeast and the west coast are pretty progressive and secular. I live in the south though so it sucks.

  • @ForChwo Thing is that there are always some people running for presidency, who are against separation of church and state. People like Ron Paul. The big problem is that some poeple are ready to vote for such candidates because of other parts of their ideology. Like being ready to call back the troops in Afghanistan. So while yes, there is quite the secular background (after all it's in the constitution), some seem all too ready to forget that.

    Sorry, I think I rambled a bit. : )

  • @ForChwo The Japanese definitely have a practice of religion, they may not accept a "God" in the western sense, but many believe in the afterlife and the practice of Shinto is to link one with the past by traditions etc now whilst they may not be textbook definition of religious, if one asked in a survey it may appear largely secular. It may be seen either way, but it is not 100% accurate to say the Japanese are mostly Atheist in the context of how Atheism is seen by the majority in the west.

  • @ForChwo Actually, the Japanese criminality rate, and ours, have nothing to do with religion. The justice system in Japan has weaker punishments, on paper, than the US, but they are applied more strictly and more regularly. Whereas, largely because of the influence of the Warren Court, punishments in the US are randomly applied, and weakly, despite being stronger on paper.

In Japan, a life sentence means a life sentence. Here, it might mean parole in 10 years.

  • @GoblinKnightLeo

Isn't that Chwo's point? Religion isn't the controlling factor here. The differences in criminality are purely secular.

  • @GoblinKnightLeo Regardless of the reasons, it still proves that the religious argument is complete BS. I am NOT arguing that atheism -> less crime, I am arguing that a lack of god/religion does not = more crime.

  • @bonnie43uk It is quite insane to believe that they KNOW that the words of a book came from a magic deity in the sky. The hard part is arguing against them. We have to use logic, but they only have to resort to saying, "Nope, word of god," and they think they've won. They're so delusional they can't even see it. That level of delusion is frightening.
