  • Good Run of the kata as a white belt but try to work a little more on stances, thier a little short, try to deepen them cause on of the characteristics of shuri-ryu is low stances so try to work a little more on stances, angles , and focus of the punches, srikes and blocks. know where your striking at. At a 'Brown Belt' this kata should look almost perfect.

  • @xxShaunWhitexx

I am a brown belt. I was semi-distracted at the time because some people walked in. I don't like doing katas when strangers are present.

  • Not bad at all. I would like to see how much you have progressed in the last 8 months! Remember; one movement at a time, be powerful and you'll have it down with the best of them.

  • @poelsmads I would love to see your "Wunzu" before you throw out the Trias blessings.

Very nice for a white belt. I know some white belts who cant get the basic 3 katas down in a few months.

  • You have to give Karritto kudos for effort and bravery! 8th kyu ka posting this for all to see. Wow!

However, poelsemads is right. You need to work on it...ALOT!

Karritto, crisp up your techniques. Practice moving from point to point. Make each movement count. The most important technique is the one you are doing. Ask your Sensei to help you as you progress.

Try to run it 10 times a day for 1 year. Film and post it again.

  • @1970strat Not bad for a white Belt. I was a White Belt for 2 yrs in Shuri-Ryu.. Wow what memories!
