every time I listen to that Predators announcer, he says at least one completely idiotic statement. In this case, it was that "Hordichuck really hardly got a piece of him". He sounds drunk, too.

Hordichuk didnt take shit down! Smith missed a punch. You know a guy is in trouble when he starts pushing you into the Glass. Smith is a killer. The flyers are very lucky to have him. I cant beleive that the Oil let him go. Morons

'chuk is the better fighter by quite a bit, but Edmonton was STUPID to let Smith go. The guy is a complete D man from head to toe. does it all, including blocks lots of shots

tie downs or fighting straps holds the jersey down in the event of a fight. It stops the other player from pulling the jersey over his head. it is sown to the back of a jersey and the other end of the strap is connected to the either the buttons or the belt of the pants.

According to the rules, it doesn't matter if the tie-downs were torn. What matters is if they were tied down in the first place.
