@carlybelle11 haha, she wasn't riffing because she was getting vocally tired. i was at this performance this was the last song she sang and after almost a straight hour of belting her face off i think she had to pull back some.

@circuitmedic nope, she didn't belt the end, she definitely used the mix. She usually does. But it's amazing how she works it out, she definitely knows what she's doing and i like it!

i really prefer this than the album version with idina.. it just doesn't sound as forced hitting the upper range from her as it does with idina..

i think shoshana is my fav :-) i love her voice sooo much. In some recordings her "MEEEE" sounds alot more weighty and kinda gravily compared to hear where its really crisp and sharp, does anyone know why that is? just curious lol

@benjiboi91 No I think it's full head voice for the first half of the note. She switches from head to mix at 0:58. I know Shoshana's head voice normally has a different quality but here she just wasn't going for the full soprano sound she normally sings with in head because she's keeping with the pop belt sound of the rest of the song.

This is a forced number.. As a member of the cast of Wicked.. If she goes to an event listing herself as Former Elphaba in Wicked.. then she must legally still be a representative of that show...I.E. has to do a ELPHABA number
