Wow, I just found this vid in my favorites of 5 years ago. Then, I really wanted this bike but it wasn't available in my country. I thought the VTR250 sounded awesome in this vid. Now, 5 years later I have my own bike and just realized the VTR250 doesn't sound nearly as awesome as I remembered haha :P

are these bikes a good start for a learner rider? it fitts the cattagory for learner bike restriction where i live but is it any good?

i dont own one but from my research, it is one of the best 250 learners if not the best. very good commuting bike

very good bike quick around corners not so good anything over 125/130 but eh ur a learner and.....has some nice speed :D...buuuuuut rear suspension fairly average a few nigly bits but apart from that 1 of the best l bikes for city/twistys........now the new regs are out if ur wanting something for longer trips look at the suzuki sv 650s/su's a lot bigger and heavier not the most awesome bike a lot more ridability than the vtr and better over longer trips and at hi mid hi...etc

No way, I like the bike. I didn't mean that in a bad way. It's clearly "inspired" by Ducati Monster's design, that i love.

I would by Honda's for everyday use, any day;

Look at it.... it's gorgeous "baby ducati monster" in my eyes! ;) Awesome bike to ride..... If only it had 6 gears! Then it would be near perfect ;)

Nice i got one but with a silver frame, i gotta admit i prefer the black frame, i got a carbon fibre Venom exhaust on mine and it sounds waaaay different. It's a sexy ass bike :D

i got an 05 vtr250, it is the best learners bike so easy on the corners but still got some good power

hey just a question, im getting my Riders Ls soon and Im lookin for a great learners bike, Ive narrowed it down to the CB400 and the VTR250, which do you think would be the wiser choice, also im lookin at new not second hand

Ba hahaha have you even ridden a vtr250? comes down to the rider, In that case as my mate has a cb400. Firstly it's ugly aS. The vtr looks like a baby ducati monster...... And the cb may be a 400.. but as 400's go its a crap 400!... That said im confident that i could out ride you on my vtr if you were on a cb

i think u best start with the 250..the 400 might be too much power for a beginer.besides a its a really big bike..

Our bikes do sound pretty decent in stock form. I've got a little sound in my vids as well.

cool vid, our bikes sound great! i changed the stock exhaust for a japanese tsr and now sounds much louder with a different tone maybe. i'll upload a video when i can ;)
