was there a tutorial at video copilot for this effect. all they had was a dvd for tutorial masking for 49,99 which has this tutorial for the greenscreen car effects.
Hey I have a tip, if you look close you can see the persons arms turning but in the background he is driving straight. I hope this tip helps you for the next time you green screen, Nice job!
One tip: Rotate the background video to match the perspective of the car. Also try to add a little camera shake to the foreground elements (such as the car interior and the window reflection.) For more realism I added a grunge texture to the windows as well, applying an overlay transfer mode and reducing the opacity.
@InferiusFurious heh. thanks for the tip man. yeah... too many giant cars. haha. and never realized about the camera shake idea. gotta remember that for next time. thanks!
I might do this actually, my bedroom wallpaper is green, with a lil bit of blue swirls on it, but that doesnt matter. I'm getting a proper one on my next visit to PC World :)
Sorry failed. The car doesn't look like it's moving. It's just like a frame. That's all. No effects. Sorry man. Try again

To torafordiz,
The reflection is made by applying a simple feathered mask on the closer window. It even may have the same footage as the back window

I think it would be more realistic if you didn't turn the wheel while it was going straight in the background. lol

Very well done! I like the window reflection. How did you stop the green on your arm from being removed? Did you mask this out?
