This song is just one of the reasons I like Macalania Woods so much... there's also the actual song titled "Macalania Woods" that's pretty remarkable in it's own right. You hear it by the base camp. Then there's all the tangible stuff... Celestial Weapons, Tetra Armor... oh and the place itself looks pretty sweet.

I can say I didn't go for any of the secret weapons and easily put close to 300 hours in this game. The blitz ball game was just addictive, along with the sphere grid level system. Just terrific game overall!

@brendude95 There are challenges in the Macalina Woods if you want to get the secret weapons. You mustnt touch the butterflies and if you do you lose time and it´s very very very difficult to do :D

Meh, I don't really sweat the mini games for the Celestial Weapons anymore... I remember the 1st time trying to get all the sigils, I remember thinking to myself why they would put such daunting tasks in our hands for something as valuable as the ultimate weapons, I would complain that they all should've been less challenging, like Rikku's for instance... Now I wish Rikku's and Wakka's Sigils were more like Tidus, Lulu's and Kimahri's, traveling through Bikanel Island...

... back and forward to confront the Cactuars is SOOOOO BORING! I have to put it in all caps. And playing the minimum amount of Blitzball games for Wakka's Sigil TAKES HOURS, fun as Blitzball might be. The butterflies at least follow the same pattern and once you memorize it you can beat the mini game every time you play, not that I don't fail at least 10 times before succeeding every time. I always beat and survive the Lightning Round the 1st time I attempt it now...

and the Chocobo mini game for Tidus's Sigil is actually really fun once you realize that it's pointless to want to kill something every time you fail because often times you won't even have a chance to beat it if you don't get a favorable setup of balloons at the start of the race, then it just becomes a test of how well you perform with the cards you're dealt. Just the other day I won the Sigil from the race... but I kept on playing it anyway and get a perfect score...

its been a few years but i think since i too spent many hours on that game i do remember alot of things (including the butterflies) depended on patterns i had to count before i could really time it, i didnt rely so much on reactions of the moment as, moments in time to move. idk if this helps u, but its what i did and i did it for the very reason that i couldnt always see exactly what was happening and couldnt trust what i saw. even the overdrives cuz of latency i didnt trust visually.

I would think the in-game names for songs are the real deal.

I've also seen other songs with different names like "The Daughter of a Great Summoner" but in the game I think it's just simply called "Braska's Daughter" and instead of "Fleeting Dream" I've also seen "Someday the Dream Will End" or "A Dream That Will End Sometime"
