@mtothem1337 no starter is a easier to use windows 7 thats cheaper than others so people can start on it like a 5 year old can use it its just easier to use and has more easy features
@flamingarse1 It's the first version of Windows 7 ^^ It has limitations and restrictions :/ They chosed to remove a limitation from Windows 7 Starter that only allows Starter Editions to run 3 applications at a time (Anti-Virus(S), background process(s) etc. doesn't count it). On the previous versions of Windows Starters (Windows XP Starter, Vista Starter) it had a restriction that only allowed 3 apps to be runned at a time. Read more on the web
@darknidevle89 yes !! but i recommended to u home premium is faster and stabiler
home basic cant change the theme !!! when premium can :) just search in wikipedia "windows 7" and there will be green FAQ and there is what home base can do and cant :) and all other sevens
No, Windows 7 Enterprise is the same as Ultimate EXCEPT Windows 7 Enterprise doesn't have the Microsoft games pre-installed such as Solitar, Minesweeper.
@kevinspl2000 Enterprise is made mainly for businesses "i think" so no point getting it, Ultimate gives you everything, like the name says ULTIMATE it allows you to install premium or ultimate and all the others windows 7 OS's, but i would just buy windows 7 premium because windows 7 ultimate is also on the premium disc but is hidden :) all you need to do is edit one file and ultimate will be available ;)
good video but it seemed like you didnt have much confidence when you where talking
:S
quick tip when making a video be focused on the topic at hand and know what your talking about in the video i.e do some research if you dont know the difference between versions of 7
the only difference is the activation
which on ultimate is just your normal activation through microsofts servers enterprise goes direct to a local kms server instead and can only be activated 3 times
@jhugo1986 the only difference is the activation enterprise can only be activated through a local kms server rather then the conventional way of instillation through the internet to microsofts activation servers
im running ultimate and tbh my gaming rig was faster on xp more stable to do i think ill be downgrading
@903harman Well, If you have more than 3 gigabyte of RAM. it is better to choose 64-bit because 32-bit only supports a maximum of 3 gigabyte of ram. And windows 7 has good driver support of 64-bit hardware and software(previous versions of windows 64-bit are a no-go because of it poor driver support) So, If you have more than 3 gigs of RAM, Choose 64-bit!
@oliebol61 im getting 6 gigs so i will go with 64.. is there a way i can have 32 and 64 together? like install both drivers so i can use 32bit software with 64?
@903harman No. It must be 64- or 32-bit. But i work the most with 64-bit ultimate and i have no problems. 90% of the programs work on 64-bit. But what CPU do you have?
I also use the Enterprise edition... It's the 90 day trial though, but a bluescreen every hour doesn't seem to bad to me when it expires, since I'm not going to have like 7 tabs open and 3 different windows like on my MacBook..
@anpippin That wasn't very smart? you've just recorded your self committing copyright theft so expect to be sued by Microsoft some time in the future.
@anpippin I think he means that you are only mean to use Enterprise for buisness reasons and not home reasons, I guess he means you need to have some kind of licence to use it... but it doesn't matter you can use it how you want it to.
@anpippin omg enterprise isnt same like a windows ultimate becouse ulti had all same like enter but ulti had all unlocked from standart windows enter hadnt becouse enter is for the buisnes ulti for home and players!
@D3ADCR4P I'm not sure what you mean by that. It's just a normal Windows version, available to all users.
If Microsoft claims you cannot own this version because it is for businesses, you can counter-claim that by saying "I am of my own business; I own the intellectual rights to do so."
