@ViciousArbiter Renegade vs paragon isn't really good vs evil, it's more the way you act. Being ruthless and audacious or not hesitating to shoot first is Renegade. Trying to use words first and showing restraint is paragon. It's entirely possible to take different approaches to different situations - my Shepard was Renegade while in the field and fighting with people, but always Paragon, polite and respectful, to civilians.

@Jetman123 That's precisely the way I played because lets be honest, if you choose the response you really would expect shepard to use, obviously he/she is going to choose to intimidate thugs who would see politeness as a weakness, and some mother grieving her daughter being murdered being treated with kid gloves is still the right thing even if you are a badass.

@ViciousArbiter cuz its a alignment interrupt. They are offered regardless of your choices up to that point. They are independant of dialog thats all, because the game developers realized that one of the key things missing from ME1 was that actions should also be considered not just whether you were "polite".

@drag0nfis7 It's a texture replacer. If you search around for Texmod and Mass Effect 2, you'll probably find quite a few. Unfortunately, this is for the PC version of the game only, and there are separate textures you need to modify based on gender and level of renegade scars (for my part, I just changed some things in the INI file so that my Shepard always has the same level of scars, then replaced that texture).
