  • no good guitarists before jimmy page? hmmmm

  • exept they were after jimmy page...?

  • YOU BLOW

  • jimi hendrix and jimmy page revolutionysed the way of playing guitar, there are guitarists like vai, satriani , petrucci etc etc 'cause hendrix and the guitarists of his time prepared the way to them(my english isn't so good), I respect the modern guitarist but Jimi Hendrix and Jimmy Page are two Greats of guitar

  • YOU BLOW

  • fuck off you piece of shit pussy.

  • YOU BLOW

  • My math teachers have always told me one and one makes two.

Have I been doing math wrong for my entire life?

  • TUSMROX, you can add one plus one. CONGRATULATiONS, it is indeed a great stretch for ppl like you, but you REALLY SUCK when it comes to UNDERSTANDiNG words in a song, dummy (;

  • jesus made five and two equal whatever the hell he wants

  • That main riff is tough to play. I know, I tried.

  • no its what jimi hendrix and jimmy page played when they were stoned (no offence there gods) but you dude probably play Billy joe Armstrong solos when your stoned or some gay good charllot or simple plan or some shit

  • haha dude you are so damn ignorant there wouldnt be a guitar solo with Jimi Hendrix

  • that microphone is a little to tall for him

  • this is kickass

  • vern is recoding next weak with pierre from the stones..look for it soon

  • long live living colour

  • are they still together today??

  • the best african american band ever

  • yeah since the african american's invented the meaning of blues guitar and basically began the hybrid for all music now adays"

    yeah best band ever...

  • thats highly debatable what about the Bad Brains?

  • "there wouldnt be a guitar solo with Jimi Hendrix" what the fuck is that supposted to mean?

  • Man I have much respect for Living Colour. Frickin awesome band!

  • righteous =]

  • talented band, but people wouldn't give two shits if they were white

  • bullshit

  • and there's a reason for that...

  • living colour is an awesome band when i heard them i had to buy te tape they rocked so hard ive been listening to them ever since 89 i was ten years old

  • oh man that was awesome.

  • Wimbish is God on bass but Muzz was Jesus, swear to gott !!!

  • Man they r great live!

  • esa banda esta muuuuuy aguada para esa rola

    el grupo es shingon!!!

  • The way Vernon is holding his guitar with his cap on reminds me of Tom Morello haha, but he's so much better than Tom (they're both great though)

  • I've seen him live, I think he's a hell of a guitar player. I wish I could say that I saw Living Colour live.

  • You've seen Vernon live w/o LC, or you've seen Tom?

  • I saw Tom at an Audioslave show. God I am glad that Chris Cornell is done singing Rage tunes. He sucked at it.

And as for all of you guys arguing over what color Tom Morello is, DON'T! What the fuck does it matter? Does Tom kick ass? Then that's all that matters.

  • Who was arguing over Tom's race?

  • tom is way better

  • Their styles are very different. They both excel at their own genre.

  • This is Metal, period.

  • love the guitar goes good with the song

  • they supposedly have an album coming out this year "Chair in the Doorway" ... bout time!

  • this video has great sound quality

  • These guys are the first all black rock band right?

  • Well, how would you define 'rock'

  • ^^^if u smelalalalla wat the "rock" is cooking....xD

  • I think the first all black rock band was the Band of Gypsys.

  • Wrong

It was FUNKADELIC, with Eddie Hazel,

    try "Maggot Brain"

  • No, not really. If you check Wikipedia, Funkadelic (one of my favorite groups) put their first album out in 1970. It was called Funkadelic. The Band of Gypsys, made their live debut at the Fillmore East on New Year's Eve, 1969, for a series of four shows spread over two nights. The famous/fantastic, epic "Maggot Brain" came out in 1971. By the looks of it, they were mere months apart.

  • TChalla90210

    Wiki you say?

Oh I will have that corrected to say the truth.

If you get your facts from Wiki we will not be able to depend on your conjecture,

Hendrix credits Eddie Hazel and the guys in "NewYork" as he called them.

    Please do not trust Wikipedia

  • That's just when the Funkadelic redord came out. The band was together for a few years before that.

There were plenty of all black rock bands before Band of Gypsys anyway. Little Richard, Isley Brothers, and Ike Turner all come immediately to mind from the older days of R n R as having all black bands, but Sly and the Family Stone is the one from the late 60s that immediately comes to mind.

  • They were a kind of a black hair metal band, but more creative and with a collective IQ 20 points higher than the average white hair metal band.

  • people often called them funk metal

  • I'm named after Corey Glover!

I really do love this band.

  • HOLY SHIT! These guys still sound UNREAL! Are they back as a band??

  • that is fucking funny

  • A whole gang of angry nasty black guys!

Clover all rockin', Reid all Rippin'

    Great vibe, Living Colour rulez.

  • dam that guy is good and fast

  • Thats what she said

  • but it is true isnt it

  • Umm. Is Tom Morello a guitar god? Does Tom Morello have stage presence? Not really. He used to write slogans on his guitar. That was about it. lol
