It is actually happening already as more people have the patience to listen to the findings and make up their own minds, rather than take other people's word for it that bigfoot is a myth. Recent PGF film enhancements are startling- showing muscle movements of the face and leg, and a herniated leg muscle. See gait analysis video with the rapid face movements. It certainly seems unlikely that Bob H. was the guy in the suit of bigfoot. DNA evidence is coming.

As he always does he makes generalized generic statements and says in his OPINION they mean this or that. Opinions are not scientific evidence. What about meldrum trying to pass off an elk bone as a bigfoot bone? Does that sound like an honest investigator?

@seymourbbest The difference between you and Meldrum is that Meldrum analyzes the evidence and lets the viewers/readers/audience draw their own conclusions, whereas the only thing you do is barbarically throw around insults-showcasing your bias. Meldrum is a great scientist, and he has not been dishonest about anything-making him a hero to many. You are no one's hero. You don't analyze anything, or bring anything to the debate other than aggression and unjustified bias.

Do Bigfoot tracks look like it's an animal to you? Not to me, humanlike feet, please... This isn't a minor issue but a very important one, something's making those tracks and unless you're mad and think they're all fake or by some known creature (anything but an unknown of course), then we have these creatures out there making them... All these things found, on Patty or on the ground, that you call hoaxes are all great proof waiting to be substantiated by a specimen...

I think this constant squabble over foot prints and PGF illustrate the Bigfoot debate quite clearly----Bigfooters always want to debate a side issue because there isn't any proof of Bigfoot so they'll divert the debate to silliness like prints. How about Meldrum explain how we can have prints but no animal to make them?debating the bottom of bigfoot feet is like debating how many angels can dance on the head of a pin.

No, footprints don't all show ridges evidently, it all depends on how it stepped, and on the soil and its state when you found it...

Oh ok so that's how it works--footprints embraced as the real thing years ago and called bigfoot proof are now being called fake and quietly slipped out of collections because they didn't have dermal ridges like prints do now.So then a few years down the road Bigfooters will say "see ALL the prints have dermal ridges".If you have to constantly update your "evidence" then you aint got any evidence,you've just got the latest hoax.

Like I said Meldrum will talk about dermal ridges in recent tracks BUT why won't he address the lack of dermal ridges and mid tarsal breaks in those tracks collected 40 or 50 years ago? Why are those old tracks flat and featureless like a board?

@seymourbbest Because many of the tracks from that era were left by hoaxers. Others were found either in shallow woods or close to roads where the ground is much more compacted, making the prints appear more rigid. A mid tarsal break would not be apparent in highly compacted areas, nor would the dermal ridges, however there were some. These characteristics began to appear yrs later when extremely remote, less trodden areas became easier & safer to reach via advanced transportation & technology.

@seymourbbest pt 2. -- Having said that, many of the very best casted prints came from that era - Example - the casts made from a creature whose left foot had been badly broken/mangled at some time in the distant past. Unfortunately, the healing process left it quite crippled & deformed. When found, the stride of the creature was grossly affected by the injury. The entire process in this case made the chance of it being hoaxed almost non-existent. These prints came from the 60's.

Footprints from 20 years ago have been found to have dermals....if the truth were to be known, all of Meldrum's forays into the field, travel expenses and lodgings are paid out of his own pocket...It's funny that anyone that writes a pro-Bigfoot book is accused of doing so only for money, thus nothing they say can be trusted..one can assume from this logic that books written by authors must be written purely for altruistic philanthropic reasons, or they are not to be believed...

They're very much still alive today. They have been found for centuries throughout N. America, Eastern Europe, parts of Russia and Australia. Part of the reason they are so elusive is because you're dealing with a primate that borders on a human level of intelligence. The yowie in Australia has been found to be as big if not a bit bigger than ours and they've found crude tools that it's made.
