This movie was so stupid and frustrating. Hes an idiot for just fast forwarding through everything when he could've just paused time and had infinite time to complete his work. I know its obvious but it just annoyed the fuck out of me haha

@DarkLordNataku Because clearly if you fast forward yeah sure you do work without realising but you also do a whole lot of other shit without realising that you can't control and has severe consequences. He should have picked up on that. His whole problem with work was that he didn't have time to get everything done AND have time for his family. If pauses he can procrastinate on the couch for a year if he wants and get his work done as slowly as he likes. So yes it is obvious.

@Jagwa3 again. no it isn't. he didn't pick up on it because there were no downsides when he decided to use it of his own choice. <---KEY choice. when he lost the ability to have choice, he lost the want for the remote. i would love to use that remote to fast-forward shitty/boring/annoying parts of my life so long as i maintain control. when he lost control, the remote became bad. you say it's obvious but he didn't lose control til later on in the movie, therefore, how's it obvious?

@DarkLordNataku Even when he used the remote the first few time to skip a fight or whatever he should have had at least some foresight to think "Hey you know theres a chance that that may not have worked out. Theres a chance that when i was in autopilot i did something so bad that my hot wife is leaving me" Its not so bad when he skips short periods of time but when he decided to skip until his work was done that was a dumbass move.

When u lose control of ur body and its making its own choices i think that is about as out of control as anyone could possibly be. I know his body was supposedly on 'autopilot' and wasn't suppose to make any drastic decisions but lets say you skip even just 3 weeks of your life until your 'works finished'. u have no idea what happened in that time. its dangerous

When you watch a movie you know that there has to be a conflict and at the beginning of this movie its obvious to the viewer that the control will be the source of conflict and so you desperately hope he doesn't do something stupid. Its obvious to the viewer but yes i guess not so obvious to him. All im saying is if i had the control i wouldn't be fast forwarding at all. I would be pausing and finishing my mundane tasks myself
