  • 支持刘晓波先生,中国一定能实现自由与民主!

  • 支持刘晓波!

  • I don't think he is honest in all communication.

  • i didn't hear anything that he said that the chinese government isn't already trying. i for one don't believe private ownership is always best for a nation. also he sounds like early mao in some ways. also i don't like the fact that he isn't working with the chinese government. but in some ways against the government. protesting does more harm for the chinese government on a internation level. i am for protesting on a national level but once its gets to a international level.its bad for china.

  • I am a chinese and now live in china I am agree with his ideas.but I dont know why I feel he isnt the honest . I agree with dalai , mayingjiu ,caiyingwen etc But Mr Liu in my mind isnt honest . though his words is truth. maybe I am a chinese

  • @Chinastar85

Sorry. Closing concentration camps and freeing political prisoners can't be a "gradual process." Ending genocide can't be a "gradual process." The CCP are criminals. FREE CHINA

  • @TheTollundWoman America is already an established country and society which the world over knows "recognises and respects peoples human rights" - so why is illegal rendition still taking place right now?

This does not give China an excuse to continue with the so-called concentration camps etc. but it highlights the presence of double-values.

We have no right to accuse another country and advise them on what they should be doing if we ourselves are unable to uphold a clean image.

  • @anaisjoelle

America is "an established country and society"? What would an "unestablished" country and society look like? Historically speaking America is an extremely young country, particularly in comparison to the world's oldest continuous civilization. Anyway, I'm not really sure what America has to do with this. The video is about China, not America.

  • @anaisjoelle

Double values? I am referring to the universal legal requirements of the UN Declaration of Human Rights. The US has nothing to do with this, this is about International Law, which the CCP is violating by imprisoning Liu Xiaobo and denying him his right to free expression, a right gauranteed by International agreements to which the PRC is a signatory. Anyway this video is made by an Australian news corp so why are you talking about "we" as if it means "America"?

  • @anaisjoelle

"so-called" concentration camps? have you done any research on the Laogai? as for illegal rendition- it should end, the Patriot Act should be repealed, Guantanamo should be closed, terrorists should be treated as POWs, and INS should stop deporting people against their will. Unlike China, the US is a democracy, so it would be nice if you guys (voters) could prevent these kind of atrocities from happening in the first place

  • @TheTollundWoman As you said; illegal rendition etc. SHOULD end; but they haven't. Nor have the "concentration camps" in China. But how can we scold a country for its problems when even we ourselves haven't even solved our OWN problems - that's all I'm saying. Yes I vote - and I am happy I am allowed to vote for a party into government, then realise that illegal rendition is still taking place even though they said it wasn't.

  • @anaisjoelle

The existence of concentration camps in the PRC is a well-documented fact. Imprisoning, torturing and enslaving people for dissenting against their government is a crime under *international* law, a violation of basic human rights as defined by the United Nations. The US has nothing to do with this. stay on topic.

  • @anaisjoelle

Well how was it that in the 1940s, the US, a country that still instituted the blatantly racist "Jim Crow" system, was able to "scold other countries" for the Nuremburg Laws? How was it that the British, who were illegally occupying India, could "scold" the Germans for illegally occupying Poland? The Allies in WW2 were hypocrites too. But there is such a thing as the lesser of two evils.

  • @anaisjoelle

Try protesting illegal wiretapping in China, see what happens. there is NO MORAL EQUIVALENCY between a democracy like the US, and a dictatorship like the PRC. Churchill was a racist, imperialist hypocrite. I hope we can agree, however, that he was the lesser of two evils compared to Hitler.

  • @TheTollundWoman about the conc. camps - you're giving the impression that those camps made famous by the Nazis still exist - as if the innocent are being herded like objects into camps where they are given no food, no water, no shelter then shot or burned alive, or working in conditions so hideous they might as well be living in an area just hit by an environmental disaster. I must admit, I haven't set foot in one - nor have you I expect but they're probably not as devastating as you imply.

  • @anaisjoelle

Yes. Innocent people are being imprisoned without trial, used as slave labor in inhumane conditions, tortured, and shot by the Communist regime in China, this is a well-documented fact. I suggest you read any of Harry Wu's books. or read the Epoch Times, the archives are available online.

  • @anaisjoelle

the PRC also funds and is allied with the only govt. in the world that still practices Eugenics. but i suppose that isn't as "devastating" as Human Rights Watch, Amnesty International and the UN imply...

  • @Chinastar85

Do you know about the persecution of Falun Gong in China ?

The communist party does anything to stay in power.

Falun Gong practitioners who have committed no crime are having their organs harvested as I write.

As of June 2010, 3383 FG practitioners were confirmed persecuted to death. Hundreds of thousands are still missing.

FREE China from the communist party

  • Go to your address bar, after the word YOU and before the word TUBE, type in "win" then press enter

  • @titsubo Good luck beating your imaginary being. I'm sure he has trained for the fight too.

  • you are a great man !!

  • @titsubo I am not going to start a cursing war with you. But do you really get satisfaction insulting people? I really shows how immature you are.

  • @titsubo If you care about China, just don't watch and comment on this section.

  • Liu Xiaobo is a very good man, if Chinese are serious about their own human rights and freedom, should support Mr Liu xiaobo. His way may not achieve real results, but at least showing that, Chinese are willing to transform the dictatorial country into a democracy country in a peaceful way. This is the last chance for CCP to take the opportunity, or else. People who want freedom and democracy will win in the end.

  • Why can't the commie chinese and russian pigs stop supporting north korean criminals???

  • here is:

    /watch?v=t8zbOCcKct0

  • Chinese people need badly to fight poverty.that's what real Chinese want not Nobel prize

  • @Barrackobama1000 haha so funny, before he won Novel prize, chinese medias said "we must win Nobel prize". in the end their stupid nationalism made them lame.

  • you did a wrong thing:accept the funding from us and do whatever whitout thinking.so i hate yot

  • @GuanYu89 YEAH FUCK FREEDOM LONG LIVE COMMUNISM!!

    Stupid college brat.

  • Look on the bright side! At least Liu Xiaobo has universal healthcare!!^_^

  • @minnesotastategop

    China doesn't have universal healthcare.

    Please don't talk bullshit.

  • @titsubo From someone who supports and ideology that murdered 200 million.

  • In conclusion, we can go on debating this issue forever! Its in human nature to be self righteous. It is also in our nature to except & embrace. Like it or not, China will be the next Micheal Jordan in this ball game! Lets hope that we can find our better side n embrace this NEW reemergence of China! It is those who will embrace & recognize change that will be successful in life! If u ask me y China is successful, its because the Chinese ppl had embrace n recognized change to their country!

  • @titsubo I am not an American, and actually I am against the Iraq war, though I believe that the Afghanistan war was justified. Don’t forget there were Chinese people killed in the 911 attacks, and the Chinese government itself supported Americas decision to go to war. There is a difference between America and China, which is that America has plenty of citizens that are critical of their own government, you must know of people like Michael Moore, the most outspoken critic of the U.S government.

  • i pitty 刘小波

  • Wanting or needing criticism? U r kidding me! China has got its share definitely! Its been on the world SPOT light, thx to western medias bias reports & constant bombardments, China has been dissected and examined for the past decade! No gov't in the world is perfect! NO ONE IS! You need to do more search on China b4 u starting barking! First, the Chinese gov't does surveys on every bill or proposal b4 pasting! All protests or assemblies are accounted for and made public.

  • @12gigiJAbomBOMba I very much disagree; the West has its own critics, which are its own citizens. There are plenty of critics of the American government; do you not remember the protests in American when the decision was made to go to war with Iraq? And what about the rightful criticism of Americas handling of hurricane Katrina? Perhaps you are not up to date with current affairs, have you heard of wiki leaks?

  • @word4today1 Don't underestimate the power of 1.4 billion Chinese! Yet don't over estimate the power of the Central gov't. Chinese aren't dumb! If they r not somehow happy of their lives, no gov't or force can control 1.4 billion ppl from overthrowing the gov't. Btw, if u can learn to read Chinese u should check out some Chinese blogs. U will find many rhetoric & opinions for & against the gov't! And it is in those local China blogs where the gov''t does surveys to find public opinion!

  • @12gigiJAbomBOMba I still disagree with the statement regarding the Chinese government’s openness to criticism, certainly on particular issues I know that is the case, but only issues the government chooses to address. How can it have open discuss when it blocks citizen’s access to certain sources of information? Information is power, and the Chinese government does not want the people to be empowered.

  • I think perhaps the young generation of Chinese are perhaps politically naïve. It is foolish and wrong to be so trusting of ones own government, leaving politicians to their own devices, hence the corruption in Chinese government bodies. No government is going to criticise itself, it is totally up to the people. I disagree about all protests being made public and accounted for in China, the fact that Liu Xiaobo is in prison is a testament to the suppression of protests against the government.

  • @word4today1 Wikileaks is very controversial and taboo! Just like Liu Xiaobo the Nobel Peace Prize winner!

  • Yes you are right, Wikileaks is controversial and taboo, but only among governments, particularly the US and British, not among the people of the West, that is the difference. I haven’t underestimated the Chinese people, they are capable of some amazing feats, and they have proven that. I think perhaps the reason why people aren’t so restless is because the government has kept the 300 million consumers happy with material possessions, the consumers that have most say in Chinese society.

  • Its sad that u think younger generations in CHina r politically naive! I strongly disagree! Many of them r the first to have the chance to leave CHina n study overseas in western countries. They are exposed to western cultures n ideologies, yet they still choose to return to CHina after they graduate. Does that tell us something? U need to buy urself a little RED BOOK of Mao! LOL.. communism promote Self-criticism! The Chinese gov't criticize itself all the time! It learn of T'ianman Square!

  • There are reasons why students return to China, one main reason is perhaps the one child policy, also in the west they are "average" whereas in China they have more opportunities and are part of the elite class. Chinese are politically naïve, not all of course, many I have contact with are very apathetic and only interested in their own lives, perhaps because most are part of the wealthy consumer class in China and thus have no reason to complain, they have everything the poor of China do not.

  • @12gigiJAbomBOMba I haven’t read Mao’s book of thoughts, however I have read Karl Marx's Communist Manifesto, which ironically I understand Chinese are taught the philosophies of in school. I can tell you from reading the Communist Manifesto, that though Chinese society has a veneer of communism it is far from it. Perhaps this is why I disagree with the Chinese government on so many issues, as I do agree with many of the Marxist philosophies.

  • @12gigiJAbomBOMba Stop pretend CHinese! You Canadian makes people sick!

  • @12gigiJAbomBOMba Do you believe people, particularly Americans, should not criticise the United States for the bad decisions they make? Because you seem to be saying that people should not criticise the Chinese government. So if we should criticise the U.S government when they make bad decisions, then why not China?

  • @12gigiJAbomBOMba First, the Chinese gov't does surveys on every bill or proposal b4 pasting!

And couldnt give a fuck about ppor peasants All protests or assemblies are accounted for and made public.

    At their discretion.

Another rich white spoiled middle class american studying at UCLA to undermine my freedom.

  • @minnesotastategop

Hey dude just listen to yourself! Sounding like an extremist? Anyways, if you can;t handle the truth there is nothing I can do about it!

There is no need for the Chinese Gov't to lie when they actually make public that there are over 100 000 protests per year throughout China!!

If only hate consumes you then don;t listen to me! I just want a good civilized debate!

  • @12gigiJAbomBOMba let's note the size of the protest, source of data then the fact that China has the largest population in the world - if the country had less protests than, say, the a country with a smaller population, it wouldn't really make any sense - but I'm not saying that it's a good thing with lots of protests ...:D

  • Democracy is a superstition--Promised but not delivered. Mr.Liu has a dream like vision for China. NO ONE person has the brain n intellect power to understand China n offer solution to China's problems.

  • @titsubo You are on the Chinese payroll. Shut he heck up commie.

  • @gmcbuses We are not some keyboard commandos on payroll!!We are just normal Chinese either overseas or in the mainland! Its perfectly normal for a typical northamerican to hold a grudge against China. PPl in the west are taught & expose to medias that demonizes China! Do u really believe every word they say on CNN or FOX? Did they report that Liu wrote in a local Chinese article that he believe China should be under 300 yrs of western colonialism? DID THEY? NO! not one word about it!

  • @12gigiJAbomBOMba The Western world is not against the Chinese people, the Western world merely disagrees with the Chinese government on a number of issues. Naturally, you would be against the criticisms on the Chinese government (that is under the assumption that you are of Chinese ethnicity), it is a defence mechanism. However, some criticisms are valid and bring to the forefront important points, none of which are addressed by those defending the Chinese Communist Party, or the party itself.

  • Comment removed

  • Who would want to be criticized? Not THE CHinese or Americans or any westerns! Don;t be mistaken though, the Central Gov't of China takes all critics very seriously. Though they may not publicly admit to it but actions speaks louder then words! Look at how far China has come from 1949 being hardcore communist to today's Capitalistic Socialism with elements of freedom and human rights.

The world have questioned & criticized the U.S for yrs about the wars in the mid-east! I WANT RESULTS!

  • @12gigiJAbomBOMba It’s not a matter of wanting criticism, it’s a matter of needing criticism, both to bring forward new ideas and to improve on old ones. You are right about the Chinese government taking criticism seriously, they get seriously offended, and then get defensive. I am sure that the Chinese government has improved the living standard of its people, and they should be commended for it. Although, most of Chinas improvement is due to the opening up of its economy not the government

  • Comment removed

  • Lastly, there are so many problems and issues in China that just "addressing" them may decades to do! The Chinese Gov't has prioritize it! And first and for most is to keep the country developing & bring more rural ppl out of extreme poverty. Invading Iraq & Afghan were never on the list! Then is stability in commodity prices. Imposing or exporting Chinese way of governing is also not on the list of things to do! 3rd would be to handle separatism! We don't want to be a repeat of Russia!

  • There are important issues that the Chinese government is continuing to ignore, such as the Korea situation. The North is continuing its aggressive stance and the one thing propping it up is support, both moral and material, from the Chinese government. If it had been China that had its naval vessel attacked or towns bombarded from artillery, you and I both know there would be a major war. Chinese support of dictatorships such as North Korea is unacceptable, and they should be criticised for it.

  • Comment removed

  • YOu know what westerns likes to ignore? Your own evil doings! You want to be a humanitarian? First, stop the war in the Mid-east, hows that for a change? I hope N. Korea and Iran will stay out of your radar! They won't stand a chance against the Nazi N.A.T.O meat grinder! They are small potatoes but yet being BULLIED! By the way, tell ur U.S masters to stop parading their carriers in the the YELLOW sea to provoke war! China knows it does NOT have a carrier! U western trigger happy cowboys!

  • Back to the point of our discussion. I just want to end on this note: What country would invest all its resources on improving its country, raising the living standards & building a better future for its ppl! Gradually, China will work towards & invent a system of gov;t suitable for its own ppl & culture! There is no name yet for this system but we should be happy to be able to witness such an amazing conception! Its will only happen once in history! We r lucky to be alive in this era!

  • @titsubo No titsubo you are a Nazi, and totally uneducated. You are no leftist, no liberal, or you would not be cheering on China trying to dominate the world, taking every other countries manufacturing jobs away.

  • @titsubo Screw you sludge brain jerk. If not for America, the whole of Europe including Russia would of been taken over by the Nazis. Only reason Europe is not just a bunch of Soviet States, is because of the United States. The US took some troops out of Germany, to reposition them more where they are needed. The US is not bankrupt. Tariffs are going to be put on lots of goods to get them made in the US again. Corporate tax cuts in the future will be tied to job creation in the US.

  • Lu Xiaobo is truly a brave man.I cannot think of a person who is more deserving of the Nobel prize . A very intelligent and brave man(standing up to a very powerful authoritarian communist government).

  • liu xiaobo is much more deserving if the nobel prize then obama. any one can sit in a huge chair in the white house randomly making decisions. But liu is actually sacrificing his well being for the good of the world.

  • Nobel peace prize became a joke last year after it was given to president of USA.

  • @titsubo Your a dirty commie Chinese Pig, just like wisemonkey.

  • @Fergus3232 I agree. Obama is going to water down the free trade agreements, with China.

  • @Fergus3232 Exactly he is a lackey, of the Chinese Communist Party.

  • @titsubo The first thing the Russians will do is kill your stupid 2 faced evil self. Your not right wing your Chinese idiot. Your full of chot suey. Hu wa, hu wa hu wa. Shut the hell up chink

  • @titsubo You F off, your on China"s government payroll. You have a Chinese, or stupid middle eastern name. Who you working for AlQuada.

  • @titsubo There should be a border fence, directly across Mexico, patrolled by the US Army.

  • @titsubo German bases are not going to close. Treaty will be ratified. Obama will work out a compromise with the Republicans, doing more tax cuts to get it passed.

  • @titsubo That is not true stupid. If not for NATO, Europe would of been a state of the Soviet Union by now.

  • @titsubo God curse you titsubo. Who are you working for the Chinese secret police. You must be. Your on the Chinese payroll.

  • @titsubo You shut up you ignorant stupit uneducated do not follow the news piece of windbag. With do you have between your ears sludge. If you followed history all of Europe, and Russia, would of been under control of the Nazis. China under control of the Japanese. The US did not start World War 2. It shows how uneducated you are stupid!!!!!!!!!! It was the Nazis. The United States is going to water down those stupid free trade agreements, get the jobs back in the US again. titsubo s t f up.

  • @gmcbuses titsubo shows how uneducated you are. You do not know world war 2 happened 60 years ago crazy.

  • I am dissapointed that this video only has 5619 hits as of my viewing.... This man is brilliant, he's intelligent and well spoken and actually cares about people and is willing to challenge the incredibly corrupt chinese government and take a stand for what he believes in, even if it means he will spend most of his life in prison.

More people should know, and care about this man, if it ever came to him getting out of prison and came seeking political asylum, I would petition for his cause.

  • Not saying the states is saint, but there is a fundamental diff between assange and Liu. Assange is leaking sensitive infor which can damage national security, this Liu dude is simply asking people's rights being recognized and respected.

  • @lustdog lustdog you are exactly right.

  • @titsubo Of course, there are few countries that are not controlled by the Zionists but most of thge countries in Europe are 100% controlled byt te zioists.

  • @titsubo The problem is, you are just quoting one person who were just lucky that he was not put inoto jail. UK is 100% controled by the Zionists and the Queens and the Princess are all hidden Zionist jew my little frined for your info. You stupid thick cunt> Look how uneducated you are.

  • @titsubo Deadly wrong. You are put into jail in Europe if you have a different stories from the official Holocaust story. Europe is 100% controlled by the Zionists.

Morever, people are put into jail in Europe for speaking the truth about Holocaust and one of thme were sent 18 years to prison which unfortunately, I forgot the name.

Europe is 100% controlled the Zionists.

  • @titsubo In Europe, anybody who speaks the truht agianst the Holocaust nsent inot jail for many years which could be 10 years, 20 years or even 30 years in jail. What a free country Europe is.

  • Journeyman, please look into the million dollars Liu Xiaobo received from US government, via the NED, to conduct domestic politics? Check NED's own China grant publication for proof.

Just to remind you about FARA, we ourselves outlaw foreign financing of domestic politics. Why is it we can do the same thing and not be violationg human rights? Free speech has limits, even more so for political speech - every nation has the right to preserve sovereign independence.

  • @titsubo Yous in Europe, would of been a state of the Soviet Union, if not for the United States. If not for the US, also yous would of been taken over by the Nazis, along with Russia idiot. China would of been taken over by the Japanese, if not for the US, so with is your point stupid. By the way just shut your slanted eye face up. Stop talking your stupid crap. The US keeps yous safe.

  • wtf is he drinking?

  • @robi2000 USA has a long history of torture and even Bush admitted to it. It will surprise no one if USA gets hold of Julian Assange and then have him tortured or executed. USA is just as bad as Communism but marketd better to hide their ugly side.

  • @pakjai It will also be no surprise if an extremest from the Middle East decides to strap explosives to his chest and blow the hell out of himself and scores of innocent others in the name of their religion. OVER AND OVER AND OVER again. There is so much more in the world you should be concerned about, so please stop wasting your time theorizing about how the USA will conspire to torture and execute Assange.

  • @thephotomatt Wherever America goes there will be terrorism. America doesn't like peace, because peace will put them out of business. They need to unsettle and create tension and war in order to sell their weapons and technologies. It's common sense not theory.

  • @repo1911 it looks like the regular green tea they serve in chinese restaurants(before they bring out the food).

  • my asshole is hairy

  • Dirty commie Chinese pigs!!!

  • @WiseMonkey888 That doesn't make any sense, which again, I think is rather comical. You're starting to seem so ridiculous that I'd think you're a troll rather than a brain-washed nationalist. lol. Whichever it is, I'll just ignore it because otherwise I'd just get angry for nothing.

  • @WiseMonkey888 You're outraged yet you still avoid the gist of the comment! I find that hilarious and hypocritical. Fine, better for everyone if you don't answer.

  • @WiseMonkey888 And China doesn't? China has its hands in all sorts of places in Africa, my friend, manipulating in order to extract as many resources as possible. Anyways, I've seen some of your other comments, and you seem to be a racist and nationalist, claiming that "asian culture produces pragmatism and analytical thought like no other". It seems like you're channeling Hitler there. With views like that, you're in no position to criticize MY perspective.

  • China I don't understand; if you are doing what is allegedly right then why do you worry so much about what others have to say?

  • It's important to not that this is only one person's opinion and it pales in comparison to the 400 odd millions who not so long ago were on the trove of poverty. Actions speak louder than words.

  • the point is that liu is a CIA agent.

  • @xmanoo please

  • @xmanoo

    how do you know?

  • watch?v=u-AHF4Mymmw

  • @titsubo Keep talking this load of BS, because you are BS. What are you trying to do get a raise, from your boss in Communist China. Iraq illegally invaded Kuwait. Great Saddam was brought down. He was stupid not to cooperate when Clinton was president. He could of had full trade relations established with the rest of the world. He lived by the sword, died by the sword. Not cooperating with weapons inspectors, was like he admitted he had them, or wanted Iran to think he had them as a deterrent.

  • @gmcbuses Before going around on YouTube replying to other people like the US is the most righteous country in the world, you might want to do some research on why Saddam was even in power in the first place.

  • @Bluestar3471 The way to pay them back is the US has to get its GDP up. The way to do that, is the free trade agreement with China has to be watered down. The US should start mining 60%, of the rear earth minerals it needs. The US stupidly gave most of its manufacturing base to China.

  • @titsubo I do agree America is going backwards. I do not like it one bit.

  • @titsubo As for wikileaks some of that info he should not of put on that site. Would you like it if he published how do you make a nuclear bomb, step by step. responsibility is suppose to be used. I"m against the witchhunt, but they should use responsibility. Releasing peoples names, so they can be murdered by terrorist is no good. Much of the info on there is pretty much with you could figure out anyway, like China would rather Korea was unified under South Korea.

  • @titsubo As far as what happens in law enforcement. A police officer is punished when excessive force is used. China is a dictatorship, authoritarian society. the people there are not free. There is no free movement of people between provinces. You forget the mass killings that took place during the early 90s by the Chinese Army shot with tanks. This is what you promote. If not for the US, Russia would of invaded Western Europe decades ago, you would not have the freedom to talk this crap.

  • @titsubo As far as the missiles on the Russia Polish border, US forces there I disagree with. That is provacitive. With should of been done, is they should of been placed in the boundrylines of former West Germany. ABMs are needed to counter Iran, North Korea. Rougue regimes.

  • @titsubo All right enough of this BS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The reason for going into Afghanistan, the United States was attacked on 911. 3,000 people wher killed. The war should be widened there to crush the Taliban once, and for all. When that General asked for more troops, 45,000 more should of been sent to take control of Bagren province from the Taliban, 20,000 to stop flow of insurgents across the borders. As for Wiki Leaks I think they should of been left alone. That charge is baseless.

  • @WiseMonkey888 胡说

  • @Bluestar3471 Typical Chinese argument. has to have the last word. That`s how aggressive and arrogant these mafuccazzzz are.

  • next year Nobel Peace Prize goes to...drum rolls.......TSA scanner

  • f-u-c-k you liu you treachery bastard!

  • @WiseMonkey888

The only sort of government that *HAS* to be authoritarian is a state dominated by mindless peasants. Considering their revolutions and civil-war, burnings of the books on Confucius, you're right. A government of peasants for peasants who can only understand the stick not the carrot.

It's not like opium was shoved down their throats, they made a choice to consume it. Like cigarettes that common people consume despite it's addiction. The Chinese are intellectually hollow.

  • Foolish people, don't you see that the development and whatever you think China has achieved with their publically admitted fudged growth numbers demonstrate that their lower strata is basically suffering?

For all your talk about America, sure there are flaws in their free system - but it's nowhere near the likes of China or Saudi Arabia or Pakistan. I mean just because they have Guantanamo Bay, or a CIA, doesn't mean that American doesn't have their First Amendment. China? Give me a break.

  • @Bluestar3471 You are obviously Chinese. Listen -- all we have to do is stop buying crap from you and your economy sinks. Not that I need another piece of plastic crap from your slave shops.

  • @WiseMonkey888 blaming outside sources for a large country's oppression is as old as china itself, older than the pyramids. And lame.

  • FUCK CHINA, BOMB THEM ASAP!

  • @ttdantt10384 It`s the bad leaders who one should bomb. Dont be fooled by main stream medias. Chinese people are just as nice as your next door neighbour. I would never say yes to a war where casualties are only innocent people like us while the elites are profiting from evry bad and good from us.

  • wow

  • assange, xiaobo...

we are not entirely free, we will be free when we want. it is a matter of time, we all know the authorities are not to be trusted, but we are better than millenniums ago. we have a great future. think about it, we went to the moon when the cutting edge technology was a microwave oven. we can do anything we set our minds to do. we are a big family, all humans, apes, mammals, animals, living things, planets, we are all from the same spot

  • We, the people from hong kong, fully support the release of Liu Xiaobo.... We are not brainwashed by the communist government like WiseMonkey888 and we know fully the ridiculous history of the chinese communists and the atrocious things they have done to the chinese in the past

  • Au contraire, monsieur, it does not take a genius to understand why this is wrong. Liu Xiaobo is practicing a right that should be free to the world, the freedom of speech. The ability to criticize the government is something that should be implemented because that is what makes a country free. China's pride is in attempting to establish that its government is unshakable, an act that would make it not a democracy, but a dictatorship. This is not a question of foreign pressure, but human rights.

  • Please, if you are so well learned, give us an example. Why is China the apex of human rights? Come on, is it not so hard with you being so knowledgeable about it? Spill the beans, oh wise monkey... whatever you are.

  • @WiseMonkey888

    In English please!

  • liu is da bravest man ive seen.....unlike dalai lama's way to fight 4 democracy..i prefer liu's method

  • @afuwok6969 I feel the same way. Liu is more corageous and knows what he is doing and the consequences. As for Dalai lama , he is living a lavish life in exile. He is a fraud. They should represent a strong and honest leader from Tibet to really prove their case aginst Chiniese authorities.

  • @WiseMonkey888

Justifying the Chinese government's behavior? THAT'S a farce.

  • @WiseMonkey888 U mad? lol

  • @WiseMonkey888 Here are some things that were invented in the West: • bycycles; • cars; • computers; • telephones; • telescopes; • televisions; • the internet; • microscopes; • vaccines; • YouTube.
  • @WiseMonkey888

Yeah… We should not have freedom, we must all live under a repressive, communist dictatorship, because we would all be much happier living without freedom!

Oh and by the way: I was being sarcastic because if your comment is supposed to be a joke, then it is certainly a very good one! If not, then you should seriously (read: SERIOUSLY) consider what the world be like without the west.

  • @WiseMonkey888 Yeah, just like how Germany had to being Totalitarian. 10 years later, the Nazis payed the world back for the Treaty of Versaille, that's for sure.

  • @WiseMonkey888

This is true. The main problem here is not China's political regime but the lack of comprehension and understanding by the Western societies about what China is and why it is acting the way it's acting. Before we understand and accept that we'll be locked into our narrow mindness and keep giving 'Nobel prizes' to all sorts of the so-called 'disidents' and other characters which seem good to us but mean nothing for the Chinese.

  • @Bluestar3471 You're sick.

  • @lazylucius First, human right and freedom are given since you born. But the Chinese goverment took these away. Second, human right and freedom are not create by anyone. human right and freedom born with you! You can enjoy the freedom and human right started from the first day you come out from your mun. This is common sense.

  • He is fighting for human right and democracy. His job is keep going into the jail and come out, and go into the jail again. Lets imagine your groverment will sent you to the jail if you say something or do something that the groverment dislike. Will you stand up and fight for the right again? Mr.Liu Xiaobo is a true HERO! He didn't fight for the human right and democracy by using the violence. He choose the peaceful way to tell the Chinese groverment and the Chinese people. Wake up, Chinese ppl!

  • I don't think if he become a China leader he can do better than communist party of China.caz i bet he hv no idea to control such a huge population, such a big country, he don't even know how to put China to the right way of economic He just only care ABOUT TIBET and not thinkin how to make Tibet better juz say ab Human right all the time. he juz know how to criticise the recent government I prefer Wen Jiabao and Hu jing tao / they know how to civilize China, lead China to the better world stage

  • @MR6TUBE I can't agree what you said. Are you chinese? The fucking Chinese goverment treat the Chinese people like a slave! Yes, the Chinese goverment makes China become richer and stronger. But do you like to living in a country that you have no freedom to speech? Money doesn't mean everything man, we born to the world with freedom, human right, not with the money!

  • @domingo1985 Well, in that case I guess you can move to the west when you have money since you hated China that much? The Chinese government doesn't stop them from studying, they don't stop them from making money and they certain wouldn't stop them if they wish to migrate abroad. Freedom is only given to you if you live like a sheep and do what your govenment tells you to do. Just like in the West. I you don't then you can kiss you own ass in jail. You don't get given frredom automatically.

  • @WiseMonkey888 No it doesn't.

  • @nobama6

Oh yea. U.S. is highly in debt and owes china billions of dollars. Now why the FUCK would china be bowing to the US , IDIOT .

  • @WiseMonkey888 If you justify China's bad behaviour by pointing at the West, you are just saying it's ok for all countries to ignore ethics. We have a responsibility in the West as well as China to improve our governments. You can't ignore one or the other!

  • He is a true hero

  • @WiseMonkey888 Why is this video a farce? The guy wants a less authoritarian government.

  • The U.S. and China will be at war before long. It will be welcome, and China will once again bow and kiss the feet of the U.S. But that kiss won't be permitted, as it's bloody face will be further kicked into the dirt.

  • @WiseMonkey888 You are a farce. Two thumbs down to the Chinese government for suppressing, torturing, and intimidating their own people. People like Liu Xiaobo persevere and are catalysts for improvement and much-needed change in the world. People like you say "next 50 years...payback time." YOU are the farce!

  • Ah, change comes slowly to China does it? The Three Gorges Dam on the Yangtze River displaced more than a million people and will be completed in less than 20 years. In only three decades China has become industrialized and urbanized to the point that cancer from pollution is the leading cause of death. Sure- change must be slow there.

Is it only in destruction that humanity should hold any speed, and in all other endeavors meander so slowly that movement is almost imperceptible?
