i'm waiting for the patch where icefrog increases the number of bans. it used to be 4 (still in dota2) and with the increasing number of heroes i think a 6 or even 7 heroes banned is becoming inevitable.

i'm a pick/ban phase enthusiast, i feel it shoud be as important as the whole game; and i feel that the real way to make teams choose other heroes is by forcing them through more bans.

Tranq boots is a decent item in my opinion as they give an enormous MS bonus +80. This indicates that they should be used for roamers/gankers as they spend majority of their time running around the map. The aspect of the boots becoming brocken after 3 instances of damage also points to heroes that should roam in which they come oput of the fog, quickly kill the enemy and then get out.

Tranq boots is prob for jungler. Heal on self+ms helps between camps and popping to gank.

@hooh3923 Most junglers have summons to tank the dmg for them and using tranquil boots would just drain the mana which they could have used for the summons so nah... I don't think so.

About the Tranquil Boots - i can only see 2 uses for them.

One - Tranquil + Soul ring on some heroes (Axe comes to mind, gogo Battle hunger axe!)

Two - Carry heroes who can't really use ring of health (naga siren, riky) - really questionable, but probably viable

@Nzgrym I don't know if it will be too viable on melee heros simply due to the fact that they "break" and remain broken until they go on w/o damage for a bit. I'm more inclined to believe that it might be good for long ranged supports like AA/CM who can stay back and who need extra MS for ganking.

@Bballin773 I think its still pretty good for heros who chase a lot, maybe clock or slardar or syllabear, reason being when you are chasing somemore, they are not gonna turn around to whack you xD. Personally I think many heros who once have gotten phrase boots will now get tranquil boots. Except heros like WR or BS cos they already have abilities to give themselves 522ms and for them phrase ability is more useful in case they get creep blocked.

@Bballin773 also viable on roaming gankers such as vengeful spirit and ogre magi. cheap boots, fast movement speed, a 150 hp heal out of combat and armour to increase survivability of this weak heroes early game. very good boots for these roaming gankers.

The heroes I would get it on (though only in certain situations), other than mentioned aa/cm are Huskar (you can come back to battle after healing, no mana problem), Ezalor (I never knew what boots to buy him, now I have a good one), maybe Lich, maybe ganking Gondar, maybe Doom.
